Nice track, very wide fairways but lots of traps to avoid. Drinks were ferociously expensive, but seemed to be the rule in PEI. They had some damaged greens and tee boxes due to some horses that got loose the day before. We had great weather but I would think in poor weather this course could be a beast. Choose the proper tee boxes. Wonderful staff across the board!

Great golf experience. Course with a beautiful layout which gives a different level of difficulty from courses in Quebec.

Superb course! Fast greens, A1 turf quality. The Burdenell is less interesting from a green quality point of view. Beautiful landscapes on the other hand on the 2nd nine. It is a golf resort with hotel and restaurants. Perfect site for the golfer with practice ranges, balls provided. Tennis, outdoor and indoor swimming pool, gym, boat rental. It really is a dream site. The staff is kind and courteous. The club pro, Chance, really friendly, as well as Matthew who supervises the 2 courses. The Marshalls are similarly courteous and friendly. A big favorite thanks to the Golf Mag show. Without forgetting the magnificent Crowbush course which is impeccable and spectacular. We had a fantastic week of golf! Jack and Monica

The golf courses are great, 4 stars. The resort and the Gordon restaurant top out at 1.5 - 2 stars.
Décor was dated, musty and humid smelling in room, very old air conditioning that was noisy and I don't know if the restaurant was understaffed, but the food was edible in the Gordon but not recommended. Service was also slow and we didn't get our dinner until the restaurant had closed. They are in need of a menu overhaul and maybe a new chef.
Play the courses and find yourself a nice Airbnb or something else for accommodations.

We had a great afternoon of golf. The course is challenging and very well maintained. In order to keep moving we did the best ball approach. The staff are amazing. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. The staff were amazing. I look forward to going back soon. Definitely a course to play

My partner and I did the route in the first week of August 2024.
He was in perfect condition.
The greens are fast, the layout is superb with beautiful views of the bay at some holes.
A little expensive at this time of year but it's a must.
There is a lot of space between some holes for those who walk but it is very easy to walk.

I played Dundarave on 7/19 and didn’t have the best experience. I come up to PEI every year with family and we try to play different courses every year. I have played Crowbush which is the same owners and that was an amazing experience. So we were very excited to try this course this year and came away being very disappointed. We booked a tee time for 3 of us and got paired up with a member of the course which was great. The issues we had was the conditions of the course and felt being rushed. First was all the bunkers on the course were closed and the condition of the course wasn’t up to par for the costs of round. As far being rushed on the first tee we were waiting on the tee box for the group in front of us to get off the fairway. At exactly the tee time the starter told the member to hit his drive into the group ahead of us on the fairway to speed them up. The member was surprised and said maybe you should go out and speed them up. He said nope just hit your drives. Very surprised we ended up waiting which wasn’t a big deal. On hole 3 the ranger came out to us and said sorry the group in front is still playing slow and they warned them to hurry up. Looking at the gps in the carts it said we were 3 mins behind the pace. I told the ranger that we were not in a rush but to enjoy the day. The group behind was not near us and we didn’t notice the group in front of us by then. We get to hole 7 which has a snack shack for food and drinks. We stopped and got everything we needed because we were told there would be a beverage cart that should of got to us by hole 3. We were glad we did because the cart never came around until hole 15. While we were waiting for the woman to get our food and drinks a ranger came up behind us and asked how much longer do we think we are going to be to continue the round. As I said we were hoping to enjoy our time but just kept feeling rushed from the very beginning. I can say I would not recommend or be back to this course again. I would recommend going to Crowbush instead.

Nice course!!
Very friendly staff, but don't bring your course beer into the clubhouse.
