Hours: Hashem's Variety is a long-standing Charlottetown corner store institution, known for selling both groceries and high-quality Asics sneakers. The owner is described as extremely nice, the kindest man, and a local legend. Customers report great service, a very friendly atmosphere, and great prices for shoes, often at half the price of other stores. The business is famous for throwing in a free pair of socks with a shoe purchase and sometimes offering fruit like apples on the way out. It is a unique spot where you can find running shoes, milk, and even a 50-pound bag of carrots.
