About The Bookman
The Bookman is a nice independent bookstore packed with floor-to-ceiling shelves. It offers new, used, and rare books, with a rich selection of curated works, different versions of classics, and many out-of-print items. The store has an especially great collection of Anne of Green Gables books and a brilliant Tolkien selection. While some find the prices kind of out to lunch, they are typically in line with online sellers. The relatively small space is stuffed with so many books, smelling exactly how a pre-loved bookstore should. It is the perfect place to wander around and try to find hidden treasures in every aisle. The staff is super helpful and the owners are very nice. It is a lovely place with many gems, including tarot cards, and customers are happy to pay a little more to support this local business.

NEW, Used and Rare… I found after speaking with the staff, that about 75% of the books are actually new. Prices of small used pocket books for adults start at $5.99 children novels $3.99…yes you have to look for the deals, but the staff was super helpful in directing me. Hidden treasures in every isle.

The Bookman smells exactly how a pre-loved bookstore should smell. They had so many books stuffed into the relatively small space. They had an especially great collection of Anne of Green Gables books!
