Value Village, a Savers brand, is a global thrift retailer known for offering gently used clothing, accessories, and household goods. The store's Rethink Reuse® model promotes shopping smart while recycling and reselling over 700 million pounds of used items each year. This approach not only supports the community but also aids more than 100 nonprofit organizations by purchasing donated goods, creating revenue for vital programs. Customers appreciate the good location and the larger size of some stores, noting that inventory and prices are similar across different Value Village locations. However, some reviews mention that prices have become high, leading to a perception that the store prioritizes profit over charity. Shoppers have described their experiences as adventures, finding unique and quirky items such as worn shoes, scratched Ray-Ban glasses, and even novelty boxer shorts. The eclectic mix of merchandise, from mismatched dinnerware to odd collectibles, adds to the charm of the shopping experience. Customers are encouraged to check items carefully and be vigilant with their selections, as treasures can be easily overlooked. Overall, Value Village is seen as a place full of surprises and a destination for those seeking both bargains and unique stories within their thrift finds.

I love second hand stores. The customer service turned me off.

Has some great thrift finds, the prices have been previously very very high/ almost too much for a second hand store - some clothes priced higher then original ( shein) - the staff are helpful but sometimes don't seem interested in communication.
