It specializes in hand knit Canadian wool knitwear and blankets, which are stylish, classic, timeless, and fashionable, inspired by the land and sea in Atlantic Canada. The store offers a wide variety and beautifully curated selection of sweaters, socks, hats, mitts, scarves, and the iconic P.E.I. wool blanket, along with yarn and other unique, locally made gifts and fun things. The knitwear is sustainable, made to last, and very well made with amazing quality. The staff is very helpful and delightful. It is a great, cute store for souvenirs or a special item and is definitely worth a stop.
They have a large variety of wool sweaters, and art pieces created by local artists. The staff here have always been friendly.

Visited on August 9th, 2026 from British Columbia. Amazing experience and appreciated all the assistance sweater shopping with colour matching the steel colour to my hair (ha!). Ended up with a great shawl collar pullover and regretting I didnt buy one of the Winterhouses.
