Worst experience ever! I’ve been a loyal costumer for more than 5 years with a broker called Fariza! Both Intact and her are the worst! I was getting a high rate from her and when I faced her she was unprofessional at all and I wanted to contact intact to tell them and they refused to help! I asked for the cancelation fee from her and she refused to give me and she canceled my contract without notifying me how much I need to pay for breaking the contract even though I told her before breaking my contract please tell me how much I need to pay!.. DO NOT TAKE WITH INTACT..Edit:I tried to call and no answer.. I called multiple times..

On July 14, 2023, an intoxicated individual damaged my car while it was parked. I took the necessary steps with Intact Insurance while the police officer was still present to write the police report. Two and a half months later, after numerous calls and telephone conversations, a courtesy car was finally loaned to me. This caused several problems, given that I work in a field where cars are essential, and summer is a busy contract period for me.A little over a month ago I was confirmed that the garage had carried out the inspection and my car was ultimately declared a total loss. Two weeks later, an initial paltry offer was made to me, which I politely declined. With justification that the prices of used vehicles have exploded. A second offer, accepted out of necessity after almost 4 months of waiting, was offered to me.Last week, I was told to collect my personal belongings from my car. When I arrived at the garage, the car was no longer there. After many calls and waiting, it turned out that my car had already been sent to the scrap dealer, without me having a chance to get my belongings back, without final transfer or payment from them. So I would have to sacrifice two hours of work (not counting traffic) to collect my personal belongings. Furthermore, I am still waiting for a return from the claims adjuster, who should have sent me the transfer papers last week.I thought that having insurance allowed you to live with peace of mind?!Update *******Today I contacted Intact Insurance again to confirm if the scrap dealer actually had my car, so I could get my personal belongings back. The Intact agent contacted the scrap dealer, but no response was obtained from him. Despite this, the agent assured me that everything should be in order and that I could go there. Given my previous experiences, where I traveled unnecessarily, I refused to go to the location with a simple “It should be good!” and asked him to ensure that my approach would not be in vain. She reiterated that everything should be fine and that I should be able to collect my belongings from my car there. I requested the address to confirm, given the current lack of trust in their communication. She informed me that the car was in Des Cèdres. Cedars? Your colleague, last Friday, told me that it was St-Eustache that I had to go! His response was: “Yeah, but hey, she’s either in Des Cèdres or in Laval!” Laval? How can you ask me to move to a location when you're not even sure where my car is!2nd update ****I finally collected my personal belongings in my car which was finally in St-Eustache. Their mistake cost me 3 hours 40 minutes of my time, in addition to my gas which we refused to reimburse. Once there, I noticed that people had taken/stolen some of my items left in the car. I was told afterwards that I should have removed my belongings from the car. But how could I have guessed that my car would be declared a total loss and sent to the scrapyard? This is the first time in 24 years that I have made a claim on my insurance. These procedures should be clearly communicated to clients. When I bring my car back to my usual garage, my belongings stay in place, and I can have complete confidence. I thought that was the case with your trusted network as you call it (the affiliated garages and tugs). Finally, I hope I will be compensated for your mistake.I never thought a company of this size could be so poorly managed. What incompetence! And what a lack of respect and consideration towards your customers.

Worst experience with an insurance company. They require me to deal with a garage that repaired my car with “tie wraps”. When I try to file a complaint, they send me a claims adjuster and give me no follow-up because he left and no one took his files. They accuse me of having put the tie wraps on myself and they tell me that they can't do anything. I am then referred to the director who clearly avoids calls and never gives an extension number to reach her. So I'm still with a broken car 1 and a half years after an accident later and no help from them.

Hello Ms. Lili-Andréa Lamoureux Granger, I am dissatisfied with the follow-up carried out by Ms. France Pelletier, she does not return my calls and does not follow up on my file within a reasonable time. I await your return call without procrastination on your part. Thank you in advance for your collaboration.

For a job it's perfect, as an employee I was treated wonderfully, I had never had an employer who didn't make me feel like a number.
