“We had an amazing time at manoir Hovey, the place is fabulous! Everyhting was impeccable and the food was some of the best we had in Quebec. But what truly made our stay special, were the amazing people working there. Everyone was so welcoming and went above and beyond, starting with Nidhal and Fabien. “We asked NOT to be on the North side and we got unit #2140 where everything was fine EXCEPT there was no sun... and we had booked for 3 nights (10-11- September 12, 2024).
These are the reasons for 2 stars for the location...
And as much as the location of the hotel and the services offered were very good, we were VERY DISAPPOINTED with the meal that our trio had at the Tomahawk restaurant this Thursday, September 12.
This restaurant claims to be a meat specialist, but our trio tried prime rib, flank steak and picanha. For the 3 dishes, the cooking was not as requested, the vegetables were "wilted" and the fries were rather lukewarm.
On the other hand, the service was very good... we suspect a problem in the kitchen.... Here are our comments.”
