“Our experience started off on the wrong foot, but ended with customer service worth recognising. On July 22, I reserved and paid for a U-Box for August 18. My u-haul application showed “Ready to Load” on the 18th, so we arrived expecting the U-Box to be available. Unfortunately, we were then told that we should have called 24 hours in advance to make sure a box was available and that it’s written in small caracters the contract—something we missed—and it was impossible to get one on the same day. After an 8-hour drive specifically to drop off our belongings in a 15’ u-haul truck this was extremely frustrating. Suddenly we had nowhere to unload our belongings and to park the truck put us in a very difficult situation. We ultimately had to make alternative arrangements for the truck and return the following day to load the U-Box. That being said, Chase completely changed our experience. He did everything he could to help us find a solution and genuinely cared about making a difficult situation better. Problems can happen, but the way employees respond to them makes all the difference. When someone makes customer satisfaction a priority, that deserves to be recognized. A huge thank you and shout-out to Chase for going above and beyond to help us. Your efforts were genuinely appreciated! On another note anyone from uhaul reading this for first time users your app information is misleading and confusing. Some upgrades are needed to make it more user-friendly and clearly to users.”
