worst customer service ever. when we picked up the truck not cleaned or have gas in it. When speaking with the staff about issues with the reservation, they offer no help to resolve the issue. when asked to speak with the manager, I was informed that I was speaking to the manager, I proceeded to ask his name, he hung up the phone. The truck was picked up at 10 am for 2 days. we were told after signing that the truck had to be returned by 5:30pm on day 2 (32 hrs later) or be charged an extra day....I said we have until the following morning at 10 am (48 hrs later). I was not advised it is a condition when reserving at this location!!

Really incompetent staff and they don't clean their truck before giving it to the next customer. The guy with the dreads has attitude & is unprofessional, not a big surprise

First, the truck had no gas. Subsequently, we were charged $128 excess under the pretext that we traveled 114 miles (or 185km), when we traveled 71 km for our move. We returned the truck at 12:30 p.m., but according to the invoice it says 5:15 p.m.... We tried to rectify the situation with customer service, but everyone is throwing the ball around. The manager has to call us back to resolve the situation, but we never get a return call. As soon as we call the branch, we are put on hold indefinitely, without ever getting back on the line... It seems like they are doing it on purpose not to speak to us. In short, I strongly advise against this company. Looking at the other Google reviews, we are not the first to whom this happens.

Literally the worst U-Haul I have ever had to deal with in my life. It is twice that I move and twice they managed to mess up the reservation. They make me go to another U-Haul and don’t even call the other place to confirm. I will never ever ever use this place again. It is so frustrating and I sincerely hope they get more competent employees and management in the future.

I strongly advise you not to do business with this rental. Take before and after photos and videos, like I did, but know that they won't care in the end. I received a truck in deplorable condition, full of mud. I followed their instructions by putting gas in, but they still charged me to fill their tank completely.
When I contacted them to find out why I was charged, they told me they were missing gas. Yet when I brought the truck back, the clerk didn't say anything to me about it. I filled exactly the requested quantity. Furthermore, upon receiving the vehicle, I noticed that it was already running out of fuel; I therefore pay for the consumption of the previous user and I still have to recharge to make the truck full!
I also called customer service, and was assured the manager would call me back, but it has been over two weeks and I have never received a call. It is a disastrous experience; be careful because they will charge you for everything, even if you have proof. This is simply unacceptable.

it would be essential to respect the reserved times and locations! My reservation made 1 month ago was suddenly modified less than 24 hours before the scheduled time of taking possession of the equipment. the location changed to more than 20 km further. change for a one-way rental, for a round trip and last but not least, change of rental time from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.! Very difficult to plan a moving day with this kind of policy….after several hours on the phone, having the line cut off by the system several times after 45 minutes of waiting, I was simply told that there was nothing they could do do and that is the u-haul policy. only the date and the type of equipment and guarantee...the time and location can be changed at their discretion and we are only informed of the reservation at 5 p.m. the day before... Bravo!
