A bond of trust which has just crumbled for me following the 2nd visit for the adoption of the same cat which will, I was told, be promised for the next day to a pet store which sells it twice the displayed price from Proanima.

More than 50 minutes on hold on the phone (multiple call attempts) to report an injured/lost animal. However, this is the phone number that told me to call the police to report this animal. Unfortunately I ended up hanging up. I wanted to do my BA and avoid an accident (it was a snow goose which was still trying to go to the middle of the street, in a very icy curve, the cars had to brake suddenly).

Go for pets (and very rarely exotic ones) because they need affection, routine and daily care!😻

I went with my partner to adopt a cat and they told us that it was healthy. He was all dirty with urine etc. in his hair. His hair was all disgusting and it just made him vomit and poop on it. He refused to eat. We called the shelter and they said they weren't worried. They put the cat up for adoption the same day without doing the necessary tests to see if it was sick and left it with all its dirty hair. It was our first and last time at this shelter!

The services are excellent, best place to adopt an animal, which arrives sterilized and in good health. And they deserve a 2nd chance! The place is new, very chic and clean, friendly employees. However, it really is in the middle of nowhere! Some taxi companies refused to pick me up and it is very poorly served by public transport. Photo: the kind of little wonder you find at the shelter!
Downside:
The only way you accept to connect a lost animal and its owners is if the animal ends up in your home. Why is it not possible for people who have found an animal to send you the information (description and photos of the cat/dog found) and thus allow the lost animal to wait for its owners in a warm home, rather than finding yourself stressed in a cage?
Please agree to publish the records of found animals that are welcomed into a home! You will have fewer in your cages, the animal will be closer to its owners, and calm. Everyone looking for or finding an animal would end up on your site, rather than posting messages on a multitude of sites and Facebook pages, at the risk of the messages not being seen.
A little flexibility in your rules... it would be a win-win for everyone!

I was very disappointed with my call. I contacted the shelter and was put on hold for over 15 minutes.
The purpose of my call was to get information on a dog they found. I am part of several groups of the breed in question (Australian Shepherd). I was trying to help owners find their pets by sharing more information on these groups.
BUT, the lady who took my call refused to provide anything. No name, no gender, no where he was found. A big NOTHING!
Being a shelter for found animals, this must be the stupidest policy ever thought up by humans.

Not telling someone their cat has FIV is very wrong.
This shelter cares about the animals they are helping but they did not properly explain to me the medical needs of my cat before I adopted him. It had become a financial burden on me.

Nice visit. Large space. The animals are truly taken care of and put back on their feet for adoption.
