Went in late March (~end of maple season). Best place ever. Great maple syrup, maple vinegar, and maple butter, at very reasonable prices, and the owner gave us the best tour. Only wish I had bought more bottles before leaving!Note - not a restaurant (at time of writing). There was a cafe with food open in the village nearby.

Wonderful food and a fabulous host! The buffet was delicious and learning about maple syrup was very fun. Great place to take a large group for a fun night out.

Surprised by the previous reviews as the owner was super pleasant with us. I reserved for a group of 14 but communicated with them as they requested if there was a change that we would only be 13. We understood that they do one service at 6 O'clock and start serving very punctually. One car of our group was late and I was worried but the owners wife kept saying not to worry. They arrived about 6h15. We were then served a wonderful green pea soup with ham. One of the best pea soups I've ever eaten, not too salty either. The rest of the meal was a buffet, the first Cabane I've been to that uses this format. We were asked by table to proceed so we didn't all get there at the same time. All the traditional foods of a Cabane were present. The ham was particularly good. On the table was a bottle of their wonderful syrup. It is a bring your own wine affair and they asked us upon arrival if we'd be needing wine glasses at our table and when I said, yes all around they were delivered with a smile. One of our group needed a corkscrew which was also quickly provided. Desserts were again the traditional, maple syrup pie, grand-pere (dough cooked in syrup) and crepes that you could just pour syrup over. To top it all off there was sugar on snow which he served inside as it was pouring rain. I gather this is done inside when weather permits. This is a smaller Cabane and kind of off the beaten path....a long driveway through a corn field than through the woods with buckets on the trees gives you the true experience of a Quebec Sugar House. They have a nice selection of maple products sold in better that average bottles that would make lovely gifts. We will certainly return next year but likely a bit earlier in the season to insure there still some snow on the ground and that they are still boiling sap. Our visit on April 19th meant the sap had stopped running.

Le pire repas de cabane de ma vie. Bouffe tiède. Patates de cafétéria, saucisses et jambon de mauvaise qualité style Kam. Cretons gras et salés. À éviter à tout prix.
