I made an appointment for a repair on an unusual type of bike. They told me they would do their best. I explained that I would be understanding if they were unable to make the repair. When I arrived, after a half-hour drive, a mechanic greeted me with a stupid attitude. 'We can change your chain, but we won't adjust your speeds.' This was after I explained that there was a 2 minute online video describing the procedure. Not the slightest concern to be helpful, not the slightest effort or openness.
I turned to a nearby competitor, who also didn't know this type of bike. But he enthusiastically accepted the challenge and a few hours later the repair was done.
Notice to Ubac employees: contempt is not a winning attitude in retail.

Great service. I shopped for my bike over several days and they were very patient with me and gave me good advice. A family business that deserves a 6 star!

Check manufacturer prices before purchasing from UBAC. I bought a Fox Speedframe helmet for $189.99 in store only to realize when I got home that it was $151.96 on the Fox website. I called the store to see if they could match the price. They refused and even told me they couldn't see it online.
I went to the store and dealt with what I believe to be the owner. Quite arrogant, he tells me that he does not need to follow the manufacturer's prices and that it is not refundable. In addition, the helmet already had scratches even though I had just bought it new barely an hour ago and had not taken it out of the box. (Took it out of the box only to realize it was damaged).
In the end he paid me back, telling me: “I don’t want to persist with you.”
First time going to this store and definitely the last!

I went to Bromont to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my wife. We both decided to get ourselves two trek city bikes. I looked around Montreal but were not in stock, all on back order. This is 2021 and supply of bikes were scarce. They made us a great deal and added the extras attachments to the bikes at no extra charge on labour. Follow up two years later 2023 had some issues with my wife’s bike and they repaired at no cost. No matter who served us the people here are good and honest would not hesitate to come back. Thank you guys!

Pretty average service. I didn't get a call to tell me that my bike wheel was ready, when my girlfriend went to pick up my wheel, the employee told her that there was no deposit even though I had one. had made one and the price was more than what was agreed upon when I brought it.

Very disappointed in the service. My son who is on the local race team in Bromont had a problem with one of his bindings. I took it in and they (3 'techs' behind the counter) told me it could not be repaired and pressured me to buy new bindings. I took my skis to the shop down the road, they fixed the bindings in 10 minutes for $20. Guess which shop now has my business!! Update: Just saw the response from the owner......looks like he is making excuses instead of dealing with a problem. Amazing that the other shop easily fixed the problem.

Bad service, stingy and insensitive.
I am returning rented equipment for my son before the start of his season. My boy prefers the board in the end. The equipment has not been used and is impeccable, the label is still on the boots... despite this, what seems to be the owner, arrogant, refuses to reimburse me claiming that I accepted a contract... ok, but I still returns equipment to him that he can rent again. What unhealthy business sense and lack of sensitivity.

Wow! What extraordinary service received by Mélina. She was able to advise me on the ideal type of mountain bike according to my needs. Being on vacation in Bromont and having a bike that did not meet my needs, I rented one from Ubac. I now know what I need thanks to Mélina’s good advice. Thank you a thousand times ♥️ My walk at Mount Oak was a walk of pleasure and not of stress ☺️ I recommend this shop whose staff is welcoming and helpful ☺️
