“Always a pleasure been coming here since Tondreau opened in 1986.....Same name same owner since then ...The staff is super friendly,I had accidentally dropped spices,that I placed my watermelon slice on ,thinking they were plastic when I took my watermelon the spice jars starting falling like dominoes, I was so sorry ,but it was no problem, the staff just hurried along and cleaned it up with a smile on their face , whilst I was apologizing.....Besides that , I never have any issues with the store ,the prices are just right ,if not better than large supermarkets,I can not & will never buy any meat anywhere but Tondreaus,my ground pork is done on the spot, I usually get 3 lbs made into 6 ½ lbs.....and you cannot beat the price ,or the quality of the meats...I live alone,I shop a few times a week ,I get my pork chops for an amazing price ....and my steaks.I have some pork chops in my freezer I took a picture to show an example of 2 good sized seasoned pork chops at $1.76 & $2.77...the prices are amazing ,and it is all Triple A, & different seasonings ,maple pepper and Chipotle ,there is Steakhouse and others .....?I seen a documentary and they showed how big super markets make the ground beef ,they put pieces from about 100 DIFFERENT COWS into the grinder and the same goes for the pork, all that came into my head (besides GROSS) was ,THANK GOD I HAVE TONDREAUS.....And thank you all the staff for you patience with me ? and your continuous great service.....?”

“Amazing service. I always end up with awkward and dismissive service when I try and buy meat at Atwater. So I usually hang back and try and figure out what I might want and hope for the best when I approach any counter. If I do at all. I usually skip this boucherie because it’s busy, but today this wonderful person saw me hanging back and actually got my attention to ask if I wanted help. they let me know how to cook the cut I chose, and even asked a coworker for a translation when they didn’t know it in English. Which is way above and beyond what I’d ever expect and I’m so appreciative. Will definitely be back. Thank you for your kindness.”

“Bought some sausage (mild sausage to be specific) to give it a try since I'll be living close to it for a while.The meats are really unassuming, in the shop. My expectations were so-so when buying the product.Handling it once home though, it was obvious that this was a pretty decent product. Pretty sure they use real casing - or if it's casein, it's a really high quality one. Was still carefully pessimistic due to bad experiences with previous butchers in the city.Then when I started cooking em, they got mouth-wateringly juicy - basically self-basting, really.Final verdict, after eating them: This butcher has the expertise and care to deliver. And it's very affordable too. I'm glad I'll be able to buy meat from them whenever. Next up, I need some oven cookware - they had delicious-looking bone-in pork roasts that I absolutely need to try.”
