“A hidden gem in Ville Emard. The staff are amazingly kind and knowledgable about their products. The food and drinks are ever changing, and always to my delight.”
“What other convenience store would serve you the best breakfast sandwich you've ever had? This place is incredible, part of my daily routine and everyone that works there is welcoming!”
“Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. The store is clean and has a great vibe. My only criticism is that I am a fan of IPA, and there were few options that were not citrus flavored.”
“superb local butcher shop specialized but above all with a friendly personalized service. Pierre Olivier serves you with kindness and a smile. Several small fine products and several homemade products. Shall we take a detour? Yes”
“Went in this cute little store today with a friend that was picking up her gluten free beer and I was surprised to see all the different options of beer, alcohol free beer and hot sauces. Also a bunch of good quality, local products. The owner was very, very friendly and helpful.”
“Made a series of recommendations after I asked for a million different things. Very knowledgeable and a great breadth of beer. Other things too! The chips here (Brett’s) are excellent.”
“There is a strange separation between “rich” people and “poor” people by the simple fact that the pantry space is upstairs. Otherwise I love this branch!! Lots of products that you can't find elsewhere and the employees are very nice!”
“We went to SAQ Sélection-De Maisonneuve - City Councillors located at 425, Boulevard De Maisonneuve on Old Montreal. The selection was pretty good, although we were looking for a wine we were served on the VIA Rail Train (CreekSide - Sauvignon Blanc) and they did not have it. ??
We were looking for a magnum and was shocked to find out they don’t make magnums for inexpensive bottles of wine ($30 and under) they ONLY make magnums (1.5 litre) for $75 bottles and more (up to $300 for a magnum!! It had better come with a sommelier for that price, just sayin!!).
Overall, the magnum experience was a little rich for our tourism budget so we settled on a $20 bottle of Pinot Grigio (okay maybe 2 bottles … well, it might have been 4 - final count!). Cheers ??”
“Passed by on February 15 to buy a few bottles and an advisor (unfortunately I didn't know his name, but he has an armadillo sleeve on his left arm) welcomed me and took the time to advise me. I really appreciated his courtesy and kindness :) Thank you!”
“Always a great experience at this SAQ. In addition, I have rarely seen a smile as beautiful as that of the young woman who passed me at the checkout. Oh... the choice is good too! :-p”
“The french guy who works there really knows wine and he is passionate about it. I feel as if they keep a very nice selection of French and Italian wines since he works there”
“Great time! I'm delighted with this branch, they have everything we need, not just beers! The employees are very nice and welcoming as well as friendly.
They have several offers on their breads, will be perfect for our French toast recipes!
PLEASE NOTE they only take cash or Interac!
They open until 11 p.m. WOW magnificent ?
I highly recommend this place, good luck!”

“Excellent sandwhich à la saucisse. Choix respectable de saucisses et de garnitures. Servis dans un petit pain baguette frais. Beau, bon, pas cher et rapide. Je recommande!”
“C'est toujours agréable de trouver une SAQ ouverte, après les heures de travail et aller prendre 3 bouteilles de vins blanc Citra, pour ensuite aller relaxer. Je recommande ce commerce.”

“The best selection of beers from Quebec microbreweries on the Plateau and surrounding areas! Very friendly staff who give good recommendations.
Beautiful atmosphere, with a large choice of ciders, wines and original snacks. In short, I highly recommend!”
“Don't judge the book by the cover, despite the size of the store they do have good options there, from all tastes and budgets. I followed the suggestion of the employees and found two decent wines (keep in mind I am a beer person, so skip the judgement on my taste for wine), Tru Blau, it was surprisingly good.”
“One of the better SAQ's. Just Got some Spanish Wines for the festive season! June 11 2023 got a Nice Chateau Coufran 2010 and some Really Nice Zenato Amarone's 2018. There was supposed to be a 2016 Zenato Reserva for me as well but they must have hid it when I got There! I Actually called ahead to see if they had the Reserva and they told me that they couldn't put it aside for me( which is rare when comes to SAQ) but that it was in their stocks? So off I went got there and no Reserva!??”
“The guys are very knowledgeable, something you rarely find elsewhere, especially in the wine sector.
Hats off guys!
And thank you for your help!”
“Amazing place to buy Microbrewery beer, prices are normal, the owner knows his way around said microbrewery beers hence being able to advise you on a good tasting beer”
“Probably the most beautiful SAQ in Quebec. There are rare gems there for anyone looking for great, hard-to-find wines or discovering high-quality estate wines. And what can we say about the team of highly competent advisors who always offer a warm and personalized welcome. Passionate. Absolutely worth visiting!”

“The SAQ de l'Île des Soeurs offers a very impressive, high-end selection of white wine, red wine, spirits and fine alcohol. Limited product selection is available at this branch regularly. Located on Nuns' Island, just at the foot of the Samuel de Champlain Bridge, you can access it very easily and the branch is very rarely busy. If you are looking for specific products, I recommend that you call the branch in advance to ensure availability in store. The staff is very courteous and provides excellent advice if you need guidance in your purchases. The opening hours are displayed in their website page. I wish you an excellent shopping experience and above all that you find the rare stones you are looking for. Don't forget responsible consumption is essential.”

The prices are reasonable, and SAQ also offers promotions and loyalty programs to its customers. Overall, SAQ is a reliable and trustworthy retailer that provides a pleasant shopping experience.”
“I had a great conversation with the staff as I checked out with my bottle of baileys. The whole neighborhood vibe continues into this SAQ store. The staff are very helpful assisting picking out liquor, wine, and beer. I am sure I will visit during my next trip to Montreal.”
“The staff is always really helpful and friendly. Although this location is small, they do an excellent job of maintaing a variety of products that cater to the surrounding demographic.”
“Honestly the BEST butcher in Montreal! AMAZING customer service that is hard to find these days. They have made a customer for life. If you don’t get their marinated steaks and ribs here you are seriously missing out!!”
“Good service. Someone took the time to be at the store entrance to say hi and ask if I needed help. I didint, but still very appreciated. Only mid thing, its quite the small store.”
