This pharmacy refused my right to access to plan B. The pharmacist would not even speak with me, and I was told they did not prescribe based on a personal reason.
This isn’t about personal opinions, I have the right to access this legally. This was a violation of my rights. I’m posting a review as I think others should know. I visited the store on 02/01/2025 around 12:15 pm.
Edit: it’s legal, but I was given 0 alternative options and 0 empathy from the employee who told me the pharmacist wouldn’t even see me.

No one answers the phone (I tried several times while still on the line, but nothing). When I showed up directly there for a medication refill (I'm usually at another Pharmaprix, but I'm at my parents' house for the Christmas holidays), I was told that it would take one to two days (!!!) and that they would call me when it was ready. Three days later, no call from them and I can't speak to anyone on the phone because no one answers! A pharmacy is an essential service, it’s really deplorable to see how it doesn’t do its job…

I've been a customer of this pharmacy for 4 years. I've had both good and bad interactions with employees during my visit, however have learned a lot about the way they function. Wait times are usually long due to having one pharmacist on duty, single handedly dealing with on-site consults, verifying medications and answering questions from the technicians. I understand that the pharmacist and technicians can have bad days, but despite that, they do still try to find solutions.

To begin with, it doesn't even deserve 1 star, it's Pharmaprix with the stupidest pharmacy ever seen.
1) You arrive there, it’s as if they don’t want to provide service.
2) They don't have a nurse, they put you on hold for 2 hours for a consultation, 1 hour later to call you back saying (that they don't have a nurse).
3) We need closure 🛑, so we can go elsewhere please

I work in a pharmacy, I know how things go and that there can be rushes and bad days happen, but is having empathy too much to ask for? I called this pharmacy because mine was closed and I had advice for my boy who has had a high fever for 2 days and seems dehydrated, I wanted to get advice before going to the emergency room (because it is impossible to get an appointment at this time in a clinic). The pharmacist spoke to me stupidly and as if my problem was trivial, she basically told me: keep it hydrated
Then she hung it up on me.
Very happy not to have my file there, I would have transferred that's for sure..

Sunday 11 a.m. no customers 5 employees behind the pharmacy counter. I just want to ask the pharmacist a question. I am told that there is a 20 to 25 minute wait!!! For a question whose answer will take 3 minutes....I come back 20 minutes later I am answered now 45 minutes of waiting everyone is busy with prescriptions including the pharmacist who tells me that it could take 1 hour? !?! No customers waiting, they make prescriptions over the phone. I can hardly imagine when there are people....What's the problem with a simple question?! I left.... No respect for their customers. I am having my file transferred.

The prescription service is very poor even when sent by the doctor directly. Poor time management, not recommended

Excellent pharmacy service. 3 days no call about my prescription they received from the doctor. I call them, they look, check and will call me back, but they don't even call me back... It's been 2 online prescriptions that they've been doing the same thing to me, I have to run after them. Zero service

The pharmacy staff has no empathy for the people who come. I arrived late and was sent away because the person clearly didn't want to work this morning. I read the comments and I see the same experience in others. I just arrived in Brossard and I was thinking of making this pharmacy the one where I was going to have my prescriptions transferred but I'm going to look elsewhere.
I find this sad and deplorable.

Always a terrible experience to get your prescriptions at this pharmacy. You need to call to get your meds prepared for the next day. Once there, they let you wait in line (prescriptions prepared by phone) to be told to go to a different line than what their signs say. They ignore you and treat you like everyone else is more important. I have to get insistent for them to give me my meds. They serve the older customers first like they are friends but mistreat me because I am in my 30s. I have anxiety and often get a panic attack because of their mean attitude and disrespect.

disgusting!! but what the hell is this, it’s not an acceptable service at all!! 45 minutes of waiting to ask a question, 3 hours of waiting for medication and the gentleman responds with the arrogance I have never seen! Change of pharmacy bye!
