I love this bookstore and their loyalty program. I can order almost any book I want there, if they don't have it there. Large selection of puzzles and gifts. A very pleasant boutique in Châteauguay.

We went to pick up the package of books for my child. The girls who served us were very efficient and before saying hello we had all the books we needed. The staff was not very welcoming at the checkouts and you could feel the employee's stress because there were problems with billing. The employee complained because the cash register would not swing. Although there were two cashiers, only one passed the customers to make them pay. Maybe it was a bad day.

One of places I go to when I need to get gifts, they have interesting stuffs but a bit pricey. We also come here for our kids school supplies

Modification: the "novel/book expert" did not know JRR Tolkien or the novel "The Hobbit"... Which I find very remarkable for a bookstore. This is the only reason I give 4 stars, unfortunately.

Update: There has been a marked improvement since my last comment. I also met the weekday employees, their knowledge of genres and their recommendations are always 'On target'. The selection is good and the atmosphere is warm. This bookstore is my place of choice for books and despite the prices being a little higher than with some competitors, I much prefer to encourage them, because you have to pay for good service.

Google didn't send me to the right place, so it was very hard to find the place. I drove around in the maze of the parking lot of the shopping center, looking at each sign and nowhere to be found. Got the idea to go into the old shopping center to inquire about it and was directed to the very end near the Harts' store. There are no signs inside to give directions. The whole shopping center is obsolete and in dire need of revamping and renovations. The Purolator counter is where I was going and it us at the back of the Library and nothing indicates it is there unless you ask for it, as it us in the back of the store.?♀️?♀️

This place is an institution. The service is always impeccable and they have a nice selection of gifts and various items. Their little loyalty card seems to me to earn more than elsewhere. This is probably the best money return side. Very happy that this store is still open in our region.

A lot more than just a book store. Large selection of books, and they can order for you if they don't have what you are looking for on the shelves. Stationary and gift ideas and now they even have kitchen accessories!
