These ladies took responsibility, checked the meat themselves and apologized for the inconvenience and thou it's not much they offered a $1.44 coupon for the inconvenience. Just abit of customer services like that and taking responsibility goes a far way.”

“This review is long overdue. I have shopped here for years. I worked in the Glebe in 2015 and again in 2022 through 2024. This is one of the nicest grocery stores in the city. The selection is excellent for the size of store and they have some specialty products I rarely see. Kira checked me out and expertly packed my bags, as I had the pleasure of shopping today! I was able to get the Guinness for my Irish stew too! Ran into Ian, such a terrific manager, and was assisted by Don who helped me take my groceries out down a very slushy sidewalk and waited until my Uber arrived. He helped load up and saw me safely on my way home. I really can't say enough about the service way more then 5. I would give them 100 stars. Thank you!”

“I love this IGA it’s the best one in all of the Outaouais region, Gatineau and hull and Aylmer, the food is ultra fresh and crisp and let’s not forget the quality is as prime as can be. They get first pick from suppliers , Farmers alike so we can reap all the benefits and as we all know Canadians don’t eat out like most other countries like the united states of America where eating out is customary and a daily thing for them so in comparison for us Canadians we want our food and produce to be ultra fresh for all thoses fabulous recipes we love to make. And make daily and on average 2 to 3 times daily. Oh and one last thing before I run out of space .They have all the update high tech recycling pods (machines) that accept all the types of containers, bottles, cans , plastic storage food containers of all shapes and sizes like plastic milk jugs for 2$ each , cans 10c to 25c, water bottles 10c to 1.50 and so on. Theses prices all came into affect in late 2023- early 2024 if I’m correct but yes they accept any containers the better the quality the container is the more money you’ll get and or also prices varies as well from size to size. There’s a website you can go look and find all you water bottle brand names sizes and prices along with all other types of containers and prizes will surprise you just like I was the and still do when I see what people who don’t know about this throw out on a daily basis it’s money and money adds up. If your not comfortable turning them in , don’t give up then do like my aunt does she gives them to her great grandchildren! They love them. It’s fun for them to do and especially when they are don’t and the cash in ticket reads 30-40 50 dollars. And when you think about what the alternative would have been. Go to consignment it’s an app you can download and also the machines have the contact information on them and offer the booklets to bring home with you and or call them directly for help.”
“This Super C is a very good store overall, offering high-quality food at great prices. A major standout for me is their bakery. You might expect a generic loaf from a discount grocery store, but their baguettes are genuinely excellent and surprisingly authentic. The only reason I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars is the checkout experience. Having only 2 cashiers available compared to 8 self-checkout kiosks is a frustrating ratio for consumers. Aside from that, it's a fantastic place to shop.”

“The cost of food at Super C is on average, much lower than other grocery stores in the region. The quality of the food isn't A+, but it's definitely not poor; I'd say average to above average. However, with that being said, Super C's quality of food has definitely improved over the years in comparison to their old location. On a few occasions, I've noticed the store was messy, mostly in produce section. I also don't like when I see other customers in the store exchange better quality berries from one container, and shift them to another container, only leaving containers of poor quality berries. The only reason I shop here is for the lower prices of groceries and sometimes they have great specials. I bought some excellent quality fruit from Super C - the cherries were delicious, so there's also that.”

“Consistency and kindness go a long way, the staff and how they treat each other at this location is plainly a key to their success. Having shopped here for 15+ years now, they work as a team to get things done, even when things are very busy (which is often). The produce section is always well-stocked, as are the bakery and deli counters, as are the dairy and drinks aisles. The perchance for 80s music at this location is also an amusing quirk (who doesn't want to shop along to the Eurythmics or Tears for Fears?) - overall they do an excellent job under some seriously demanding conditions. Recommend for sure!”
Walmart just launched Realm, its new 3D online shopping platform. To help you visualize what that means, imagine a virtual mall packed with bright colors, wacky landscapes, and cartoon avatars wandering around. Realm lets you browse "digital doubles" of real Walmart products by navigating through several make-believe worlds. "We believe this is the future of commerce," said Justin Breton, who leads brand experiences at Walmart. "It won't replace our website or app, but will complement them."
Target's new low-cost brand Dealworthy is rolling out this month in stores and online. With items starting at under $1, it is aimed at budget-conscious shoppers. The low prices on basics like phone chargers, paper plates and underwear will likely appeal.
Walmart is growing the number of its physical stores across America. The retail giant announced plans to open 150 new U.S. stores over the next five years while remodeling 650 current locations. This ambitious plan shows Walmart is still confident in real stores, even with online shopping booming. The chain currently operates over 10,000 stores nationwide.
Popular Florida-based grocery chain Publix is venturing into uncharted territory - Kentucky. Come 2024, Publix will unveil its inaugural Bluegrass State locations, comprising six stores sprinkled between Louisville and Lexington.
