I went to theDDO Banquet National to fix a problem with access to my on line account and they were so helpful I am glad i came to this branch for help. The one on samson blvd could take some lessons on customer service from this BNC in DDO

First of all, the schedule does not match the one displayed on Google and never seen 7n worse schedule at any bank.
To be able to make a transfer from my BNC Mastercard to my BNC personal account I must go to the branch.
First I have to be away from work to be able to make my desired transactions with BNC.
I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICE.

This is a review of National Bank in general, and not this one specific branch. Abysmal service from the beginning. THE WORST mortgage "specialist" I have ever dealt with. Mistakes upon mistakes. Everything from wrong addresses and information included in documents to stretches of no communication to flat out wrong information on products. They still have an address on file that should never have been on file. Why did we stay with them? We were building a prefab house and very few banks at the time offered a mortgage for that. So enter NB. They picked up the phone and that's how it all started. And now moving fwd with them is still frustrating. They're online system is antiquated. There's very little that you can do online even though the options are there... but at the end of the day, you have to go to a branch and complete them there. EVERY time I have requested a meeting and specified english (they give the option) I am met with someone who wants to speak french and have no clue what I am there to discuss, even though I have also selected it when scheduling the meeting. Had a meeting in a branch a few weeks ago to change my payments to weekly... It was never taken care of and I had to call back to see what was going on. I would, in a heartbeat, swap my mortgage over to another bank but because it is relatively small, it doesn't make sense financially to do so. So it looks like I'm stuck with them**** Update (same day). NB reached out very quickly, although there's probably not a lot that can be changed at this point. But I do appreciate the initiative. We will see in the next few days if anything improves. I would also like to point out that I have encountered some nice/competent people in my dealings with NB. It just appears that, much like a good actor with a bad script, they are handcuffed by the material/resources given to them.**** Update #2. I have received call backs as well as a letter telling me that someone will reach out to me and that a resolution will be reached. I have heard nothing since. Almost 2 weeks ago I contacted them via phone (because their online service is abysmal... and even though the options to make additional payments exist, they can't actually be executed and you have to contact them in person or by phone) to double up my payments and pay the annual 10%. Almost 2 weeks later and the money hasn't been transferred so I call to see what's going on and I find out that apparently the employee that worked on the transaction forgot to do something and therefore the transaction was essentially in limbo. It's becoming comical at this point how inept this bank is.

My first experience at this bank concerning my finances and investments and I received a professional, friendly and personalized welcome from Ms. Cynthia Dorais Laverdure who explained my file to me well. She referred me to Mr. Michel Gagné to advise me and he was able to meet my expectations. He took the time to answer all my questions. Very nice team.

I had a horrible experience here with a financial advisor by the name of Shilpa Patel. I wanted to open a line of credit with a cosigner. The second week after my appointment with her, I left her a few voicemail messages and an email to remind her to contact me back. She finally gave me a call back, and when I inquired about my account she said she has been busy and will work on my account next week in between clients. I asked her if she could refer me to her colleague since she has been so busy as I wanted the line of credit for the holidays. She said she will get back to me but never did. I called her back and left a message but still she didn't call me back. I made an appointment online with another colleague at the same branch by the name of Alicia and explained the situation that I felt disrespected and ignored and wanted a new financial advisor. During the appointment, Alicia received my file from Shilpa as well as spoke to her manager Nina Matar who told her that my account has been rejected due to the fact that I had opened a line of credit a few months earlier and closed it. According to them my behavior was bad. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism from a bank in my life. I felt disregarded, disrespected and discriminated against that I will never go to National Bank again, especially at this particular branch where the staff are unprofessional, disrespectful and snobby, except for Alicia, at least she was professional enough to tell me the truth and didn't waste my precious time like Shilpa did. I went to Scotiabank a few days later and had the best service of my life from a kind and respectful financial advisor, and received a line of credit within an hour! It's true when one bad door closes and good door opens.

Its a very Good and nice Bank to Bank and Partner with. Their customer care/workers were nice and also has a Good Listening Ears. Speaks both English and French

This is the second time I’m going to this branch around 4pm on a Tuesday and it’s already closed, on google and the door it says it’s closing at 5. Opening hours should be respected other wise update it so clients won’t go there waisting their time…???

Worst experience I've had at the bank I've been a national bank customer for at least 20 years I went to this location to change my credit card pin number I was in the area for business so I went in. I was interrogated for at least 30 minutes they were asking me why I came to this location and random questions about my bank accounts. They asked me for 3 ids and questioned my drivers license because it was the older version which was not expired yet. I've never had any issues with banking before today. I felt very uncomfortable and will never be returning I'm gonna look into changing banks after this
