Best branch of Scotiabank ever.
We moved our business here after some issues with another branch.
The staff is kind and courteous and always goes above and beyond.
The branch manager Anneka Williams could not be nicer and more highly qualified. She has been an invaluable help to my aging mother as she struggles through health issues.
Great communication and timely responses.

Such a massive
I opened a business account with Scotiabank with the expectation of clear communication and fair service. Unfortunately, I was charged $99 without prior explanation, and shortly after, my account was closed. At the time of opening the account, your representative did not explain any fees or account conditions that would result in this charge.

We have been waiting 2 months for one of our cards to arrive by mail. I went into the branch after about a month of waiting to find out what was going on, they said it must have been lost in the mail assured me they would re-order another one and put a rush which should take no more than 2-3 days... then 2 weeks later, still nothing. No update or communication at all. I went into the branch a third time, spoke with a young man at the counter who couldn't help answer any of my questions as to where the card was, or when I should expect to hear from them. I asked if he could possibly find out, he then goes to ask his manager Betty in her office, and I hear her yelling at him 'just tell the customer it's not in yet and that's that'. Very poor experience. Not recommended at all.

If I could give them zero stars I would definitely do that this is a horrible branch especially the higher ups ! No sense of customer service accusatory tone and very condescending attitude as if you’re below them !

Terrible ATM machines… I’ve been living in the area for over 2 years and 9 times out of 10, their CDUs aren’t properly working, either cannot deposit or cannot withdraw… they need to fix this issue immediately…

Bad service ever I’ve done since I came to Canada, I booked my appointment at 3:30, and everything seemed to be good until that day, at 1:12 they cancelled my appointment and at 1:15 they rebooked my appointment at 2:30 without telling me any reason why. Luckily I checked my email at lunchtime and then asked my boss to leave early. Very terrible experience with them, then I came and spoke with their advisor about my RRSP, and I made a mistake by saying I paid another bank 1.200 per year instead of 2.400 ( then the advisor told me ‘Don't lie to me, you need to tell me the truth ‘ ) I was very surprised because of the way they talk with their customers ). I was so stupid when I came here and became their customer. Poor me to sign my RRSP here, I wish the time would come back and I will never come here on that day. God bless the advisor who said that to me

I don’t normally post reviews but it’s been multiple times I’ve come here and there’s always an issue. First off more often than not the atm machines don’t work. Also they tend to close earlier than their website says it’s not the first time that I come and they’re closed early. People work during the day and need to be able to get service from the banks. Highly disappointed, do better.

The service I received was completely unacceptable! I accompanied my elderly mother to close her credit card in May 2024. However, as of September 2024, the account is still open. Despite leaving a voicemail for the branch manager almost two weeks ago, I have not received a call back. I strongly advise against using this branch!

One of incompetent bank I have seen in whole world which has no security policy to protect your bank account from online frauds. If fraud happens neither they bother to investigate it nor they compensate the loss occurred. Now, they changed security policy to validate sign-in through OTP received on phone instead of set of security questions setup. If someone hacks mobile phone also , then how account can be protected? Only God can save us with this type of incompetent banking.
