I can't say enough good things about my experience with King's Transfer - from the prompt and informative replies to my emails and calls (thank you, Erin), to the estimated cost which came with zero surprises, to the efficiency, politeness and professionalism of the movers, to the quick delivery - everything was above par and expectations. They took the stress out of my hands and made my cross border move as easy as it could have been. If I had to do this again (I hope I don't!) I wouldn't even check with another company. Very grateful for everything having gone as well as it did. A1.

Good morning,
They looked okay but they badly broke the front door of our house.
A hole in the frame, not just a scratch.
And they didn't tell us anything. They left as if nothing had happened.
Very disappointing, real professionals don't hide the truth.
I haven't finished with them. They will pay for the damage they have done.

I am posting this review at the request of my sister-in-law as follows - I am a recently widowed senior citizen. I am not computer literate. After 35+ years in my home I made the move from Montreal to Calgary. My furniture was damaged, items lost and I was charged for damage done by the agents of King's Transfer. They damaged the freight elevator at my new residence as well as additional damage (i.e., spilt paint) all of which they held me financially responsible for. They initially denied me any compensation for damage to my furniture. They would only accept pictures of damage uploaded to their claims website. Again, I am not computer literate. Thankfully I had an independent estimate done as soon as I discovered the damage and as a result they were forced to accept my claim and make numerous repairs. When my belongings arrived at their destination the employees of Kings Transport began unpacking my belongings without me being present making an accurate count impossible. I was rushed to sign documents without proper explanation and they held me responsible for damage caused by their employees.While it is cliche, they took advantage of a senior citizen who is not computer literate and used it to their advantage. The person who came and estimated our effects had misjudged them.
When they arrived there were only two of them. It took a whole day to pack a 51/2 whereas it took half a day with another company. The boxes were made a bit haphazardly. We found items in unrelated boxes. They sometimes emptied the storage we had to put something else in the bins ?.
It took 3 guys another whole day to get everything into the truck.
There were also only two of them to bring the stock to the new house.
The list to check off our items was a big mess. You could tell the employees were exhausted and so the stars I'm giving are for them. The company didn't impress us at all and if they were more employees probably they would have been more conscientious.

We did a local move and everything was great! The communication from booking to the crew coming to take care of our move was perfect! Everything was explained clearly and all our questions and concerns were answered. The crew came on time, and even though it was very hot they finished in a timely manner. They took great care of wrapping and covering all the furniture, as well as making sure everything was placed correctly in the appropriate rooms. When it's time for our next move we will definitely use their services again!

I am happy to say that this moving experience was terrific. We had no issues and the moving crew and driver were professional and accommodating.I would definitely recommend Kings Transfer Van Lines to handle local or cross country moves to family and friends. With so many "bad" moving companies out there it is difficult for consumers to find a trustworthy company.Daniel had reassured us very early on that we were in good hands and not to worry as the company holds themselves to a level of quality that can be relied on.Moving across Canada can be a terrible experience that we had personally experienced with another company (delays, damages, lost items and unexpected additional costs). I am happy to say that Kings transfer van lines took the stress out of our move. Thank you!

I tend not to write reviews (maybe first on yelp) but I going to for this company.I did a lot of research for my Montreal to LA move and I found bad reviews of pretty much everyone. I ended up going with Kings Transfer for a few reasons (price was ok, but they always picked up the phone and asked the right questions) but was a little worried beacuse of their reviews on here.In the end, the move was near perfect. I packed myself but they did pickup transfer and delivery and everything arrived with only one small bowl broken. They were on top of everything and the movers were pilot on both ends.I would recommend.

We moved from Griffintown to the West-Island and King's did an amazing job. The team they sent were on time and worked very hard and they finished faster that I expectted! Great communication throughout the entire move and everything went so smooth. Highly recommend King's for any move
