Bought a used Forester (100k km) in June 2024. After a week, I had to take it back. While driving on the A20, with my wife and kid onboard, we almost crashed into another car because our car did not brake.
The next morning they agreed to change a part under warranty, admitting the pre-sale checks did not notice anything wrong. I did not expect perfection from a used car, but at least basic safety.
Very disappointed and nobody said sorry. The used car manager refused to fix a mirror which was loose (pre-existing condition) knowing they had made such mistakes and did not even looked at me, did not apologize.
Cannot believe this is Subaru's standards for customer care.
Welcome package costed $340 and they said consisted in full gas and water bottles etc. just got half tank of gas and nothing else.
Not recommended at all. Very concerning.
UPDATE1: you see their response where they say "contact us we will make it right"? Well I did, no reply. This speaks volumes about their concern and customer care quality.
UPDATE2: as part of our deal, the sales rep offered winter tires. After waiting a few months, today (mid October) we did receive the tires. It seems my previous review (updated now) which defined them as scammers was not well received as the employees mocked us via email and while picking the tires up. I hope you will improve your customer service.

Went to lease a Subaru WRX for my wife today as they had one last charcoal one in stock. Sales rep would not let me take it for a test drive and said he could only show it to me. I wanted to see how it drove and for the feel and comfort and driving position. Very dissatisfied with that experience and would not recommend this dealership

Terrible Experience.
They don't honor their own warranty.
Subaru Sources wants me to pay for warranty service!
Apparently the brake calipers are not warrantied? Subaru Canada says otherwise - that they are warrantied!
I took my Subaru to another dealer that did the repair under warranty.
And because Subaru Canada got involved, Subaru Sources wrote me a check for the inspection!
They try every time.
How about honoring the warranty for the cars you sell !?!
When offering to repair my caliper, they offered a Subaru-original part, as well as a "jobber" part (which is lower quality). Honestly flabbergasted that a Subaru dealer would even offer inferior quality parts!
