If you enjoy poor service, being told you’re wrong, being interrupted, and an arrogant manager, shop here! After moving to Aylmer from Ottawa and hearing from locals telling me there are a couple stores (this being one of them) they’ll avoid at all cost or drive to Ottawa to go to the same chain.I work from home for a multibillion dollar corporation and have shopped here a couple times and horrible experiences each time (40-50 min waits to drop off/pickup packages, no labels for packages (told it’s not their problem to ask the drivers for mor), items show in stock in their system but can’t be found/staff can’t be bothered to check the cage or back room).Decided I’d escalate to Manager, and spoke with Amine (sp?) today, I now understand the cancer starts at the top. Refused to communicate in English, I tried to explain the issues and all he could do was interrupt/not listen to the issue or proposed suggested solution. In the end, left demoralized but two customers came up to me outside after overhearing…they have also had poor service and told me I’m not alone when deciding to avoid the hassle and just shopping on Amazon.

I bought headphones here last week. When I was looking at the selection, they didn’t have the ones I wanted to get on display. The staff person showed me another pair and said they were the exact same look and feel (tech specs different) so, satisfied with that, I bought the ones I originally asked about. Got them home, took them out and they are completely different than what I was shown. I’m extremely disappointed and they won’t exchange or let me buy the other pair because all headphones are final sale. Staff who aren’t knowledgeable shouldn’t be advising on expensive electronics.

Got here for pick up FedEx shipment. Stuff at copy center do not move at all and seems like they make a favor to work there.

Printing here is like an after thought. So is hiring enough staff for the print shop.

I was waiting at the desk for my turn. When it came to me a worker refused to help me. Definitely, don't recommend this place.

They have almost bo products. Went for an ipad case, headphones and a charging cable and came back with nothing. The staff is non-existent and if you manage to find someone to help you they are rude and have no knowledge on their products. Go buy somewhere else.

Great store. Fair prices. Just don’t do online orders for pickup.Issue is mainly the system itself not the store.Placed an order online for pickup (which is advertised as being 2 hours). Placed an order at 5:11 pm on Friday - received confirmation at 9:00pm Saturday (store already closed) that my order is ready for pick up. Wasn’t banking on the 2-hour pick up so no big deal (but staples needs to stop advertising this).Get to the store on Sunday morning. The girl tells me that some items were missing (not in stock) and I wasn’t charged for them. I asked if she was sure as there was no paperwork being provided to me in the bag. She said yes.I got to my car, whip out my smartphone and 2 of the 3 items she said were missing (and they were missing) I was in fact charged for. Meanwhile, my phone was showing another item as not being included in my order nor charged was in fact in the bag. Even between the trade-out, I was still overpaying. I go back to the store and explain everything to the girl I had dealt with. I ask her to simply return the order in the system and scan what’s actually in the bag. She says she can’t return the items as the system is marking the items as having been picked up and they have to wait 24 hours for the system to generate updated info. She promises to manually do the return on Monday. I’m not loving the situation but I need the school supplies so they scan all the contents and I pay again (now $10 cheaper) and leave making a mental note to call back and check that they did the return.Tuesday morning I check my staples account and it doesn’t show the online order i never actually received as being returned. I thought it might still be that whole 24-hour thing but call in to check. It turns out the woman in question called in sick Monday and Tuesday. There was a printout on the counter of my order with a note to return in full (but the other employees weren’t sure want to make of it so they were waiting for her return). I was able to explain and they processed the return. My feedback:Staples seems to have a very archaic system (software$. They can’t even fix their own errors in an appropriate/expected timeframe. I never got the stuff, don’t charge me for it. And the 2-hour pickup timeframe is non-existent, they should at least update the wording. To do the returns on pick up when they fix errors, it’s all based on manual tracking and trust that it will be done.Either shop online for delivery or go to the store and shop for yourself; don’t shop online for in-store pick up. It just doesn’t work.Folks at the store are nice.- Summer 2022

Recently, I had to ship an envelope from Canada to Indonesia. Bureau en gross (Staples) accepts not only FedEx but also DHL and possibly some other courier companies as well. They even sell Canada Post stamps. I bought many stationery stuff there, too.
