The location and price of the hotel is great. Cleanliness is on point. Bring a face mask for sleeping because the TVs don’t turn off.
Fred at front desk is a friendly face and always gives exceptional service.

Located right off 2 major highways on the South Shore. 15 minutes away from Downtown Montreal. Excellent, competitive prices as compared to other Hotels in/around the city.

This place is a hidden gem! This is my second time staying at Host Hotel and they don’t disappoint. I mainly come to Montreal to play at Playground Poker Club. It’s a 10 minute drive to and from which is perfect. The Depanneur and Tim Hortons is joint with the hotel and is 24/7 which is super convenient for poker players. Overall I’m very pleased I found this place. Compared to my experiences with Airbnbs in Kahnawake, I will always choose Host Hotel over them. Huge shout out to Fred, he’s very friendly and professional. He understands all my poker stories so I truly enjoy being able to talk to him after my long poker sessions. Thank you Fred! Bravo Host Hotel!

Checked in, walked into my room, was about to sit down and saw some brown stuff on my chair. I wouldn’t stay here again even if you paid me.

If you manage to find it on Google Maps. I just added it.
Be sure to bring earplugs.
There are very large windows in your nice room so you can watch people pumping gas or waiting in the drive-through lane for Tim Hortons.
Noise comes in through the large window so you hear the traffic, trucks and people pumping gas all night.
Some large ĥeavy curtains would help mitigate the noise.
The head manager kept saying this was a truck stop so the expectation of a quiet room to sleep in was unreasonable.
I thought it was a hotel.
So I wasn't refunded for the stay. Another manager was kind enough to let me know the pharmacy would have earplugs so I could sleep the second night. They ran out of courtesy earplugs and don't sell them in the store.
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy so if I left I would still be charged.
There is no front desk or concierge.
No elevator or amenities.
Ice bucket in your room but no ice machine on your floor.
The convenience store employee checks you in at the convenience store counter.
Overall a very disappointing stay.
Rooms: Rooms are large and clean and very noisy from the road, gas station and truck stop in front.
Noteworthy details: Bring earplugs.

When I complained and asked for a refund.
The gentleman who ran everything kept reminding me this was a truck stop so the expectation of a quiet room to sleep in was unreasonable.
I thought it was a hotel. No mention of a truck stop or gas station online.

The ladies at the convenience store counter are very nice but 2 employees to run a gas station, truck stop, and convenience store means when you call you often have to wait or the phone rings until you get a full answering machine that can't take a message.
