There was an issue, I have been trying to solve it since 3 days with my package, Marc Cournoyer is the best employee in DHL he found it and solve the issue at the same day.

This is the second time DHL failed to deliver my package even though I was expecting it. The driver marked it as “missed delivery – signature required,” yet no doorbell rang, no knock, no phone call, nothing.
If a signature is required, the bare minimum is to actually attempt delivery. Instead, DHL just leaves an email and forces the customer to rearrange delivery again, wasting time and creating unnecessary stress.
This is unacceptable for a company that claims to offer “Express” service. If you work during the day or can’t babysit your door, good luck — DHL will simply say they “missed you.”
I do not recommend DHL Express.

Paying import duties for a gift!!
What an awful company. I am expecting a gift package to arrive for my baby girl from Italy to Canada, Montreal, and I’ve been notified of import duties and service fees to pay. How outrageous is that? To be expecting a gift for your newborn, and be asked to pay 18$ for a GIFT! The sender hasn’t been notified of any import duties that the receiver (me) might incur. I’m fuming. What a disgusting service. I hope DHL will close soon. There are far better companies like FedEx or Purolalor. I received a package from Italy via Purolator and it went great- I didn’t have to pay anything, I really hope that DHL will suffer bankruptcy soon with all the awful reviews here.

I missed a delivery from DHL on 15th Dec, 2025, then I rescheduled for 16th Dec for the parcel to be delivered at my door ( without contact) thats my biggest mistake. Now my parcel is missing. I was taken advantage of for choosing that option.
First you're driver kept calling me when all he needed to do was to go deliver the parcel, he kept asking me personal questions if someone is at home or not. Proceed to say my buzzer is not working when my buzzer is 100% working, he says we couldn't gain access into my building. We both then agreed to return the parcel to pickup location at lachine. 5mins later I got notification parcel has been delivered to my address, I didn't see a delivery picture on the App..I immediately knew something is wrong..came home after work, couldn't find the parcel, went to pickup location and was told its delivered...the lady at reception went inside, after 45mins came with a picture showing me a picture that was taken at my door. But this driver told me he couldn't gain access..we both agreed to take it back..how he delivers it after 5mins. Now parcel is missing.. No one's parcel has ever gone missing in my building before.. this is the first and will be the last. Check that driver very well, he is a thief. Parcel was delivered exactly 2:13pm. I'm requesting my building CCTV footage .
First thing I did when I came home was buzz myself in and the damn thing was working 100%. Mind you I had also received a parcel on 16th Dec too from Amazon ..I buzzed the driver in. He will and should loose his job. It proves he has been doing this for long.

2095 Rue Onésime Gagnon, Lachine, QC H8T 3H7. On 16th Dec 2025 by past 7pm. The guy and lady on front dest has the full information, I dont know why they're not reporting to you. The lady after spending 30mins inside cane out and showing me a picture of the parcel taken at my door step..again why I dont receive that picture on the app. Why did you deliver if I had already instructed you not to? Why is he calling me with disabled number. Dont call me follow delivery instructions. If your device records phone conversations, please check on it.
My anger is why did the driver suggest to me to come pick it up at your pickup station because my buzzer is not working..we both agreed, it was very clear Just after dropping the call, I received notification as delivered. Now the same parcel is missing..isnt that so obvious? Why is is asking me personal questions on the phone if someone is at my house when all he needed to do was follow delivery instructions.. he needed those details for something obviously.

Fast, reliable and on time is there slogan. I believe it needs to be adjusted to slow, unreliable and late/lost should be the new updated version. 5 supposed delivery attempts each time stating business is closed but yet office was opened every day from 9-6. Driver simply never came, even checked our cameras and no attempts. We've just changed our account to another shipper. Do yourself the same favour.

DHL charges $12.50 for $4 of duties. If they get ebay's international shipping, ebay should cap the admin fee. No accountability so DHL is gouging. Must be a huge revenue stream on ebay volume. BTW I read the DHL policy but it fails to mention egregious admin fees.

Package has been delayed for almost a week due to strike. On the email they say no guaranteed delivery date, but still claims on the website 2-3 days delay. And they’re also shutting everything nation wide starting this friday. What a bunch of incompetent management.

Terrible shipping company. Driver says he attempted delivery despite being home all day then after asking DHL for the package to be sent at the collection point for pick-up they cannot locate it. Employees passing the blame from one to another. Waste of time and money. No matter the eventual outcome I cannot recommend them less and will always choose another company for deliveries.

The worst delivery company ever.... the driver keeps saying he rang my buzzer when he didn't so i did a sign relese and a simple thing like leaving the package in the mailbox was not understood I had to end up picking up my delivery Miles and miles and miles away horrible experience not a star from me use FEDEX

Service is really poor, call center doesn't have the power to do anything but just repeat the same update. A shipments cost me 200 CAD for fast track got delayed 10 days, after so many calls over three days, we were about to miss our flight. Finally they promised me to dilver it on Thursday but we received call on that day stating that there is no driver today, I told them let me go and pick the shipment up but also this is an complicated solution because they need to raise a request and wait for operation team to answer. I am very disappointed from their service.
If you are in hurry to send a shipment look for some other solution, for myself I will not use thier service anymore, its wasting of time and money.
