The new Lachine waterfront park is a long, elongated peninsula of over one kilometer, situated between two other parks on the site of an old marina. It is a large park with lots of room, space for small events, small barbecues, picnics, and birthday parties. It is also perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding. The park represents an important environmental restoration project and offers a great, magnificent view. It is well-maintained and dog-friendly, with a small playground. Some note there are no drinking troughs or nearby toilets, and that there can be many mosquitoes and flies, especially later in the day. It is accessible gratuitously to all.

Excellent. So glad they got rid of the marina full of polluting power boats. We already dedicate so much public space to people parking cars, why waste this valuable land for boat parking for a few people who can afford to own them?!? Much better as a park for all to enjoy!

It was good, was cold, but will be better for summer. Too many mosquitoes 🦟 and flies when you go there late, but otherwise than that; it's a nice place to go for a picnic, birthday party etc
