Provigo Lasalle Newman has recently transitioned to a Maxi & Cie store, and many customers have expressed their appreciation for the change. The store is now described as clean and modern, with a pleasant facade and efficient self-checkout machines. Shoppers have noted that the prices are better compared to the previous Provigo, and they find the selection of items to be satisfactory, especially with plenty of stock for advertised specials. However, some customers have raised concerns about customer service, particularly regarding one cashier who has been perceived as unfriendly and unhelpful. This has led to frustrations among some shoppers who feel that the service could be improved. Overall, the new Maxi & Cie is seen as a positive addition to the community, with many stating it will likely become their primary grocery store. The store's management appears to be effective, as customers report minimal wait times at checkout and a well-stocked inventory. Despite some concerns about competition among nearby stores, the new Maxi is gaining popularity for its offerings and atmosphere.
The cashiers are very rude. They do not talk to the customers. The last several times I went there the cashier did not even say hello. An extremely unfriendly store. Totally opposite from when it was a Loblaws store.
