This is the most dysfunctional bank branch that I have ever dealt with. The wait in line is rarely less than 15 minutes. My husband once waited an hour. I went there recently to open a basic account. It took 52 minutes. For some reason I have to have the RBC app on my phone while the account is being opened. There was a technical problem which made something so simple take longer.I then received my debit card in the mail. The sticker on the card said use immediately, but the pin never came ,( the process with most banks is to mail it separately ).I called the woman that opened the account 3 times, she never answered her phone. I finally called the main number and was told I had to go back to the bank stand in the line and get the pin. The woman finally called me back ( 4 days later ). She told me the same thing. I went to the branch. The teller was very rude and instructed me to give her 2 pieces of ID, which I did. She then informed me that I needed to provide the same documenation that I had opened the account with and that one of my photo ID's was not acceptable. If this was the case I should have been told that previously. She wanted my Canadian work permit, which is not ID it is a document but she insisted that it was ID. Her bad attitude and how slowly she worked caused me to stand there for 25 minutes ( to simply get a pin). I became upset ( but never loud ) and the securtity guard ( having nothing better to do) tried to correct my behavior, as did the acting mgr. I am very small and I did not appreciate being spoken to as if I was a child. When customers become upset it is due to poor service and insane bureaucracy. As I was leaving I was informed " We are going to put a note in your file. " Apparently they thought I was 9 years old and they were running an elementary school. I wonder if they are going to call my mommy. At the end of the day I received a VM from the mgr. she said" You were yelling at my staff. Unfortunately we do not conduct business like that." Please note she called me independently. Her message correcting my behavior clearly explained why this branch is disorganised and why they are unable to provide decent customer service. I am reporting this to the regional manager and closing the account.

15 minutes to still not get my cash withdrawal. And I was next in line. Wanted me to update signature, bla blah blah. The ATM wasn't working with tap. I just want some of my cash and go. Easy.

Amazing branch!The client advisors were polite, respectful and useful!Especially the blond man who helped me on Monday, he made my banking experience so much better!

I was there with my mom yesterday. Had one of the best experiences. The lady at the front desk was polite and extremely helpful to us. She answered all of our questions. Thank you!

Extremely slow and incompetent staff. Reading other people's reviews, I am amazed that the experiences like mine are there for more than 6 yrs, and RBC did NOTHING to improve the situation!This kind of mismanagement of the clients is really down to the branch manager and her knowledge and instructions given to the staff.Further, her appointment is down to incompetence to her boss, and regional manager.I started to visit this branch in Aug 2023, and there was not a single visit without 5-6 people waiting in the line. Regardless of the time of the day.At first I didn't understand what was the issue, but then I decided to pay a closer attention to what is going on: the tellers are spending enormous amount of time with each client chitchatting about various issues, probably thinking that this is measure of curtesy?!On all occasions I was withdrawing the cash, and the teller was introducing the topics like: weather without multitasking, my family situation, and in lengths all kinds of products that RBC offers... Since I was refusing to discuss anything but withdrawing the cash, my interactions lasted on averaged 6-7 min. However, not all the clients were in the hurry as I was, and these talks at the counter were going up to 15 min per client!In my experience with RBC of almost 30 yrs, all of these topics introduced by the tellers should be reserved for closed meetings with the financial advisor or the manager. To make things worst, the tellers were discussing private accounts with the clients in front of the line of people, where everybody could hear the balances, the savings accounts, future plans of the clients and other personal information!!! UNFORGIVING!!!!And finally, it seems that the number of people in the line does not disturb the staff at all, and would continue having one or two tellers at disposal.If Google would introduce the negative rating, I would go with -5.Unfortunately, this branch is the closest to my home, and I had to go with them, but I am working on finding another solution: going to another branch or perhaps going to another bank altogether.

Horrible service! Wait time for service is absolutely ridiculous! 30 minutes with each costumer for what exactly? Costumers in line know exactly what is happening with the customers being served due to a lack of privacy. After 30 plus years I’m considering switching banks!

Worst banking experience I have ever had! Agent Carlo just took my documents and took them to another room for scanning, although he is not legally entitled to do so, as a result of which I began to receive scam links on my mobile phone (they already have my information and card number) terrible behavior as this agent is so and the girl sitting behind the counter who is probably paired with this agent. Absolute non-professionals who do not know what they are doing, in the end I did not receive any service for running around to them for 2 months. Go to other banks and avoid this branch! I hope that the security service will investigate these characters

I had a very unpleasant and dishonest experience with an agent here. In fact i came here to create a new account. However, during the session, the agent insisted on scanning documents that he is not authorized to scan. He lied and claimed that without scanning these documents, we cant proceed with the creation of my account. However, when i confronted him with the information stated on the government website, he dismissively claimed that it was unnecessary and that this is what he has been instructed to do......(lie to customers!).If someone lies to you, it's natural to start suspecting everything... so i would like to highlight another unpleasant point regarding their process of creating new accounts. In fact during the session, and at a specific point, the agent instructs you to enter a new password on his personal computer (coming from a bank, this procedure seems very strange and insecure). Moreover, the agent constantly glances at what you're typing.... :D!!! This made me concerned about the security of my information, prompting me to change all of my accounts password after that session, as I had used a similar password. Therefore, if you have experienced any password leaks in the past and you created an account here using the same method.....this is a good place to start your investigation.to sum up maybe there are some good and honest staff here....but my experience with this agent was very unpleasant and disappointing.... :(

Made an online currency exchange request and chose this branch for the pickup. Instead of 3 day delivery it took 17. I’ve managed to go to Europe and back before the currency was available which I no longer needed (obviously). Waited for more than a week to get my money back (one of the conditions in case I don’t pick my cash up) and got nothing.Calling them was the worst thing ever. The stupid AI “bot” meets you and asks a bunch of stupid questions and then just says “Thank you for choosing RBC. Goodbye”. Had to scream at it and ask to connect me with someone 20 times before getting to someone from their “global”(not the branch one, cause apparently everyone is busy) customer support centre. 25 minutes later, after several stupid “checks”, “let me verify that”, and at least 17 minutes of annoying music, she told me that I have to go there “in person”, cause there’s nothing she could do over the phone.1h and 40 minutes. The time I’ve spent just to hear, that I still need to go in person cause they’re not following their own “conditions”(putting money back to the account in case I don’t pick it up after 7 days).What a waste of time.

Every time I've come here, the staff have always been very helpful and gone above and beyond for me with a friendly attitude.The reviews about the wait times are true, but I would say most customers who come into a bank are requesting something that can't be done online or at an atm, and that is going to be a time consuming and/or complex process.

Extremely slow people. Unwilling to help. I had to wire money in from abroad and they gave me wrong details. The source bank saw the name and kept telling me that RBC gives customers wrong details. But these guys kept telling me that what they gave is right until i sat there insisting to see the branch manager. Then they came and gave me the correct details.
