The customer service is terrible, the staff is unfriendly, they look at you in a bad way, they talk to you in a bad way and in general the atmosphere in these Sephora stores is horrible, it is a heavy and unpleasant environment. And it is not only this store, it is in most stores in Montreal that this happens.
The customer service is terrible, the staff is very apathetic, they see you ugly, they speak ugly to you and in general the atmosphere in those Sephora stores is horrible, it is a heavy and not very pleasant atmosphere. It doesn't just happen in this store, it happens in most Sephoras in Montreal. Not to mention the prices are very high too.

I had a very bad experience with a saleswoman named Samantha. I don't know if she doesn't like her job or if I remind her of her ex boyfriend, but her attitude was really rude for no apparent reason. When the cashier called her to get my perfume, she clearly showed her displeasure. When I got back to the car, I realized she had given me the wrong perfume. When I went back to her to kindly explain this, she responded with a rude attitude, simply saying that this could happen and that I should ask for a refund at the checkout. She didn't even offer to replace the perfume with the one I wanted. On the other hand, the cashier (the blonde) was very professional and handled the situation well.

After spending lot of money, it's disappointing when you request gift wrapping and they simply place a colored paper over your shopping bag, offering no real presentation.
they don’t even provide a gift receipt. It's a letdown, especially when you're expecting a more thoughtful or professional touch for the price you've paid.

I recently had an eyebrow coloration session with Marie, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience! Not only did she expertly handle the eyebrow coloring, but she also offered a complimentary mask for my nose to help remove blackheads. Her sweet and attentive nature made the visit even more enjoyable. I definitely plan to return to see her again!

Absolutely appalled by the disgraceful service I received at this location, particularly from the Lebanese/Moroccan sales agents. I asked for help THREE times, and they blatantly ignored me as if I wasn’t even there! Even when they were called over, they showed zero professionalism and made no effort to assist. This level of disrespect and laziness is unacceptable! Do not waste your time here—totally unacceptable service!

Worst service at Sephora. No welcome, no help finding a specific product. Staff were nowhere to be found on the sales floor and the floor was very dirty.

Last September 29 at 3:15 p.m. I had a 30-minute appointment for complexion makeup. Unfortunately, I quickly noticed the lack of knowledge. Having combination to oily skin, I mentioned this in my appointment and when meeting the person. Once the products were applied I approached the mirror and I immediately noticed that the foundation and dark circle concealer were "fuilliet". The person explained to me that I still had this which was nonsense I had just gotten up from the chair. In short, the person handed over some products and unfortunately returned to my car the makeup did not stay in place, I removed everything and I started back at home with the products I had. A lost $40 and me hoping to discover a new product. In addition

Never had a great experience at this Sephora. There is simultaneously way too many employees on the floor, representing like half the people there and at the same time only one at cash with a big waiting line. The salespeople are generally offputting, and the one I had last time was always leading me to the most expensive products with no regards to what I was actually looking for and with no explanations as to why she recommends this brand, just saying that she « liked it ». Overall, from my experiences I just did not feel confortable there and the help I got was useless. I won’t be going back even if it’s the closest location for me.

I do not recommend shopping at the Sephora at Lasalle's Carrefour Angrignon. The big security guard with braids followed me throughout the store, was very intimidating and was constantly staring at me, making me feel very uncomfortable. Despite being a loyal Sephora customer for years and spending thousands of dollars, today's experience made me feel like a criminal or thief. When I spoke to the manager, she excused the guard's behaviour by saying there was recent thefts, claiming he was just doing his job. I've encountered security guards in many stores and have never been treated this way. That security guard's conduct was unacceptable, he should be fired and the staff should be better trained. Customers spending hundreds of dollars on MAKEUP should not have to feel like criminals. Realize that there are other options available to buy makeup that give you better service and experience. Sephora you just lost a customer that has shopped with you for YEARS, and given you thousands of dollars and support.

I was there walked out by the bodyguard after my purchase thinking I am a potential thief since I needed help finding products… I haven’t shop at a sephora in a while needed new products which I have heard of, and apparently asking for help makes you suspicious. As they are known for beauty expert, I believe asking them for advise can be expected . I asked questions as I would see them rather than sticking with one person since they are super busy which makes me suspicious as well. Also, I barely had makeup on my face, so that makes me unable to afford them. I was reading ingredients on a product to see if it’s suitable for me, and the reaction of the associate was asking me if I wanna know the price rather than asking me if I need help finding what I am looking for. I am aware that sales associate job can be hard I have been there. However, making someone feel accused when nothing wrong was done is not right. If you aren’t able to help a client without a poor judgment maybe customer service is not the right fit.

The worst shopping experience at Carrefour Angrignon...
I often go to Sephora stores which, it must be said, are often crowded. However, the Carrefour Angrignon store stands out for its deplorable customer service. During my recent visit on Sunday June 30, 2024, I was in the store for over 10 minutes before an associate bothered to greet me. Yet there was an associate by my side throughout my visit, who looked at me without greeting or helping me because she was busy serving another customer.
When an associate finally got around to helping me, I wasn't sure what product I was looking at, so I asked questions. He responded and then left without offering me an alternative, leaving me to my own devices. Finally, another associate came to tell me that the product I was looking for was not available. It's really disappointing to see such a lack of courtesy and professionalism. Too bad I should have filmed.
