Very poor service in the auto department of Canadian Tire in Laval. An employee and his supervisor tell you that your battery will go under warranty and that you only have to pay for the installation (15 minutes of time), and when you come back to the RV, there they want to do battery tests for $75 and then they we'll see what they do! Because there my problem is suddenly probably elsewhere, you have to look... It is unacceptable my problem with the Canadian Tire battery has been going on, intermittently, for more than a year, and the year last time they did the battery tests and everything was supposedly "fine", but yet it is still discharged, and I have no alternator problem or short circuit... they don't want to change the batteries under warranty!
I finally went to another garage, and it was confirmed that the battery was not holding its charge!

My 85 year old father had a flat tire with his car. He asked for help at your garage, but no time to help him, no help for an elderly person.
Putting a spare isn’t what takes so long!

I went to the tire center to fit my new winter tires. When I dropped off my car at 5 p.m., I was told it would take 1 hour 15 minutes to change my tires. So I come back at 6 p.m. and I see my car with no tires mounted yet... At 7 p.m., the mechanic finishes mounting my tires and takes my car down from the freight elevator. When he took the car out of the garage, he realized that he had not removed the stickers from the tires (because I had just bought them so the stickers were still on the tires). He has a hard time removing them, forcing him to move the car to access the stickers on certain tires, only to end up taking my car out and parking it in the parking lot. Except that, a few minutes later, he was back with the car returning to the garage again because he realized that he had forgotten to put the summer tires back inside the car. Really a lack of organization and professionalism. When I ask again if my car is ready I am told "it won't take long" which, in the end, took a good 20-25 minutes longer to finally be called to collect my keys and it is almost 7:30 p.m. ! This is the first time I'm going to Canadian Tire to change my tires and unfortunately it will be the last time for me!

From what we see in a lot of comments, your employees really need customer service training... and it's repeated with me! Tell me, are you going to search all the people in wheelchairs and quad bikes because they have nowhere to put their items??
It may take a long time, but sorry, what happened is absolutely unacceptable. I have a disability, I travel with a four-wheeler. I can stand, but with difficulty and pain. I was there for two specific items, and I had help from a young clerk who was GREAT! He took his time with me, looking for different options on his little gadget, even though it really didn't seem like he had what I wanted for the second item on my list, he forced himself to find other options for me, then him, 100%!
Then he leaves me. On my scooter, I have a backpack that I have no access to when I'm sitting and I hadn't taken my little basket that goes in front, so the chosen items went to my feet (in any case, I don't put unpaid items in my backpack, I know how to live..), so very visible, and I was sitting on a blanket because the bench is made of leatherette and these are the first cold days... it's is cold for the ass outside! Anyway, I shop and carry a few extras, all of which I put in the same place: the plate where my feet are supposed to be (my feet are just placed higher).
I go to the self-service checkouts: the lady offers to help me but I have done this 1000 times, I thank her, I am used to putting all my items on the small stainless steel plate (on the other side of where we put the scanned articles) like that everything is there and I forget nothing. I scan everything, pay, I turn my seat to put everything in my backpack and I take off my new glasses box because I just went to get them before coming to the store, the lady asked me again if I had need help or a bag, I say no again, I'm used to it and my bag is bigger than you think, but thank you! I put everything in the glasses on top, I sit down and come to go out, she gets a call and asks me to open my bag and show her the "beige box" and under my blanket, that while I'm shopping I kept shoving things under my seat. My face falls, I'm more than insulted, the blanket on my seat is so flat... it's impossible that there's something underneath! I played with my cell and it was "between my legs on my seat while I was talking on the phone" open my bag and I show my glasses box I open it as requested.... I was really insulted that 'I'm asked to get up... I'm on a four-wheeler!!! HELLO?!!?!?!
I went outside to calm down, only to decide that I was just going to buy the essentials today and return the unnecessary things I bought.
I found the stupidest and least committed assistant manager I could have ever had. “Reason for return?” I just got called a thief so I decided to return the useless thing I bought, I said with a smile.. not a word from her, she just rolled her eyes.
Even though one of them would have said to me “ah ma’am we have no choice in doing that, sorry” but NOTHING! you wrongly accuse someone, you apologize!?! No!? Instead I got accusation, search (illegal? I hadn't even passed the scanner or the gates), condescension, Olympic eyerolls, she barely sent me away when she asked for my card for the refund, blatant disrespect. The normal response would have been a "ah I'm sorry that happened to you..." sincere, not sincere, you are in customer service/returns act like it.
And the person watching the cameras, do your job properly, go get your eyes checked, you won't get innocent people accused!

Disappointing experience and unacceptable customer service
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Canadian Tire auto service during my visit yesterday. I simply asked to recover the radiator bottle cap that had fallen into the engine cover. The employee initially offered to pick it up for $20, but I found the cap in stock with the help of another employee for $16.99. He then offered to do the work for $14.99. After 10 minutes of waiting, he called me to tell me the car was ready, while I was shopping at the store, including windshield wipers.
However, upon arriving at the auto service, I was informed that they found nothing and that the cap was not in stock. Yet they demanded that I pay the $14.99 to get my car keys back. I asked to speak to a manager but was told he wasn't there because it was 5:10 p.m. and I had to hurry because the employee told me he wasn't paid after 5 p.m. All this, even though nothing had been done! The employee's lack of respect was blatant, and I had to go get my car from the garage myself.
This experience was frustrating and unacceptable. I expect professional and respectful service from Canadian Tire, which was clearly not the case here. I strongly advise against this auto service unless major improvements are made.

The worst return merchandise service I have ever had with the store manager Marie Pierre with a poker face does not want to explain anything and she does not know how to speak with a person. I went to another Candian tire he gave me the return and with a nice smile advice to the owner of this store in Corbusier chose a manager with experience and professionalism in her work

Trying to exit the store without making a purchase. Door says locked for security…. I politely gesture the guy behind the counter to press the button and he gives me the “hold on” finger. Clueless and not a way to treat a customer. Had to make my way around all the shopping carts to exit. Just plain stupid…
