I made an online purchase for same-day pickup. The website clearly stated that orders placed before 4 p.m. would be ready the same day. I submitted my order around 1:30 p.m. and called the store around 3 p.m. to confirm pickup, only to be told that the staff member responsible for preparing online orders had left 1–2 hours earlier.
This is unacceptable. The store either needs to train its managers to schedule staff effectively—especially during the holidays—or remove the claim about same-day pickup, because it is misleading to customers. I was extremely disappointed, especially since I was coming from out of town.
To make matters worse, customer service couldn’t even cancel the order. They told me to call the store back, but also said I shouldn’t have been transferred to the store in the first place. I called customer service back, and after waiting about 10 minutes, they transferred me to the store again. I could hear the staff talking in the background, but no one ever picked up the call, so I hung up and contacted customer service for the third time. In the end, nothing could be done to cancel my order. I was told I just have to wait for the pickup window to close and then wait for my refund. How is any of this supposed to make sense for the customer experience?

I bought 4 twin duvet covers online. All of the duvets were about 12” too wide for a standard twin duvet. I called customer service and started an online return but was told that I can also return in store to an H&M with a home department. I decided to drive 30 minutes to the nearest store with a home department only to be told that they can’t help me because online home orders can only be refunded by mail. The manager did not even make an attempt to speak English to me even though I was speaking English. All I was told was that I was given misinformation and they could not help me. Never buying anything from their home department again. Not only is their sizing totally wrong but their customer service is terrible!

OK the black girl at the cash needs to go. She is so rude and throwing clothes in the bag like it bothers her. Girl, if you hate the job because it is underpaid, go do something else. Why hating on customers for no reason!

Very bad service!
Someone placed an online order for me as a gift , so while I picked up the items i asked to replace one of them so the saleswoman just canceled the item and refunded the money for who ordered!! As simple as that !
I called the customer services they said we can’t do anything now !!
I’m so disappointed about what happened
And as well I mentioned that i already received another order yesterday and i was able to do a replacement easily with a salesman at rockland center!

We are told to go to the checkouts 20 minutes before closing time. We are told the second floor is closed 20 minutes before closing. So we head to the first floor with two pieces to try them on before buying them and we are told that the manager has decreed that the fitting rooms also close 20 minutes before closing time. Even though we say we will be finished well before closing, the manager refuses. So we wasted our time choosing for nothing. We left it there since we don't live close and can't come back and change it just because the manager doesn't want to work and doesn't care if the store sells or not. We will never go back there. Their clothes are made of synthetic fibers anyway.

I did not like the service provided on October 27 at closing, the supervisor was annoyed and angry that I have gift cards to pay, if their gift cards do not work well at the cash register and have to bother her to be able to do the transaction is definitely not the customer's fault, she wanted to make us feel uncomfortable having 5 gift cards to pass, honestly next time I will ask my friends and family not to give me gift cards for future holidays. I believe that we must denounce these events even if H&M will not take the trouble to see this notice.
