Yes, of course some of the prices are lower but there is a price you pay for that. At this particular Super C on Des Laurentides, be careful and really look at the products you buy, because I have unfortunatelly bought some 14$ of chicken breast that was no good anymore (smelling), coffee cream that was past the expiration date. And even after alerting the staff that there was past due cream in their fridge, a few days later I was back, and the past due cream was still for sale!! There is also past due yogurt, cherry tomatoes with at least 1/4 of the containers with mold, onions and brown bread with mold... Expired walnuts (on sale - wow!). Oh, and some products can be missing from the shelves (for no apparent reason) for weeks! Like Selection C-Up (but it is still available when you go to Metro, which is owned by the same corporation). Or frozen Irresistible Raspberries, which havn't been available since 2022 for some reason (I am not kidding). It does'nt have the $3.99 Cimo decaf coffee since 2022 as well (bizarely, you could still find it at Metro), they've replace that with some disgusting Tim Horton's decaf 300g for $8. No more Humm! Hummus with olives (or sometimes available - randomly), no more Sunrise Smoked tofu (very very randomly available and now $4,49 - was $2,99). No more Selection 828ml Dish Soap at $1,99 (but available at Metro). The selection frozen blueberries which were $10 are now $12, except they leave them in these open fridge and they become full of water crystals and unedible. Same for the icecream they put there sometimes. Beware the return baskets with meat, milk products and others, left at the side of the till for hours before these perishables are returned to the fridge! And, last but not least, they say they close at 10 pm, but they close all but one till at 10 to 10 and you have to wait in line for around 20 minutes (or more) to get out the store. All and all they have some clear management and ordering problems... Otherwise, it would be a place to shop. It is unfortunate that it is the only place left to shop for so many low income families.

Its no allure as the specials are empty on the shelves. There is a lack of management in this store

Good competitive prices in fruit and vegetables. Less choice in meats.

It's unsanitary today I went to the grocery store and noticed that there was a bird flying on the ceiling.. I informed the manager who replied that he knew it and that there were 3 birds since one month. And he couldn't do anything. .. I asked him where do you think the birds do their business and should feed themselves with what....in the food we buy?? and that we had to call professionals who will come and take them out. He made fun of what I said and turned my back. So irresponsible. Don't care about the health of their customers. Shame on you !

If you want a cheaper alternative, the quality of the meat is something to watch out for. You get what you pay for. Good variety of foods, but lack of cash register!
