today February 22, 2024 at 10:45 a.m. I went to your branch to buy strawberries which were on promotion 2/4.88 I put 10 boxes inside the cart, a man aged around 65 years old who works in your store came and told me we can't take 10 boxes the limit is 4 boxes with a bad attitude & I told him there was nothing mentioned about the price or at the checkout he told me that you can say the limit whenever you want, honestly he was rude and rude, please bring kind workers to your store, if this guy still works in your store, you will lose a lot of customers, starting with me, I will not come back, and if I can give less than 1 star, I will give because this man doesn't even deserve that 1 star. even if I went to another IGA on rue Lacordaire and bought 12 boxes at the store no one told me that I couldn't take that quantity, I don't know if each IGA has its own unique decision!

Hello very nice store and I love the chicken at the bistro always well cooked and fresh of the day but I just have a negative note to bring here Saturday pass I introduced myself and I asked where some item is from a young man clerk around twenty years old with glasses if the boss can recognize him because very rude and listens to music while serving the customers I didn't like his attitude thank you

My recent visit to the Laval IGA turned out to be a disappointing experience, mainly due to the poor customer service I received from Nancy at the register. While I was hoping for a pleasant shopping experience, I was greeted with rude and unpleasant behavior from this employee. My simple request for a delivery of 25 bottles of water was treated with contempt and rudeness, which greatly damaged my impression of the brand. As a loyal IGA customer, I have always been happy with the service at other branches, but this experience was an unfortunate exception.What particularly disappointed me was Nancy's lack of professionalism, not only towards me, but also towards other customers. I witnessed his argument with another customer during my visit, which speaks to a larger problem with customer service management at this store. Additionally, when I attempted to resolve the situation by asking Nancy for her name, she initially refused to provide it. It was only after the intervention of another person present that she was named. Likewise, when I asked for the manager's name, Nancy simply ignored me, adding to the frustration and lack of communication that characterized this experience. These behaviors demonstrate a lack of transparency and an unprofessional attitude which require immediate attention from the management of the IGA of Laval. In summary, my experience at the IGA in Laval was marked by poor customer service and a lack of professionalism on the part of the employee Nancy. I hope that steps will be taken to improve the quality of service and ensure a positive experience for all customers in the future.

The cashier she was in hurry to serve us no smile and little bit rude but the worse it was the food waiting to much time she was touching the food with her hand talking all the time with the other four people there and just one serve for sure not go back

I go to this IGA several times a week. A while ago, the cashier greeted us and, before I paid, she asked in a complete sentence: "Do you have the air miles card?". With the one or even several new cashiers, we are given an “Air miles???”. Hello and thank you, niet! Most of the time, it's the packers who do it nicely. There is an obvious lack of training.

A few years ago (May 2019), I swore to myself that I would never return to this IGA store again because I had found a live insect in my prepared salad that I had purchased from this place, only after I started to eat it (see attached photo). Recently, out of convenience, since this store is located near my workplace, I decided to give them a second chance and stopped by from time to time during my lunch hour to do some shopping (even though I don't I will NEVER buy anything pre-made from this store again). Today will be the last time I visit this store. While I was at the self-checkout, I called the attendant to ask a simple question about an item I had scanned, since I hadn't seen it listed at the advertised price. I almost always speak in French, because after all, we are in Quebec, but today, I accidentally asked the question in English... and the attendant replied VERY IMPOLIENTLY “In French please!” ". I was a little taken aback by her tone and the way she said it, but I thought maybe this lady didn't understand, so I repeated my question in perfect French, to which she answered. As I was leaving, I said “Have a nice day!” ” and she immediately replied “Have a nice day!” ". That's when I knew she understood me perfectly and was just being rude! If she couldn't answer my initial question in English, no problem, I understand perfectly, answer me in French or say you're not fluent... It doesn't matter. But NEVER TRY TO CONDEMN SOMEONE for knowing more than one language... This is a totally ignorant and rude response to a paying customer who, while purchasing products in your store, allows you to keep your job. This is the last time I will return to this establishment on pure principle, and I will be sure to spread the word to my colleagues and friends who also live and work in the surrounding area.---A few years back (May 2019), I vowed never to return to this IGA store because I had found a live bug in my pre-made salad that I had purchased from this location, only after I had started eating it (see picture attached ). But DO NOT, EVER SCHOOL SOMEONE because they know more than one language... It was a completely ignorant and rude response toward a paying customer who, by purchasing items at your store, allow you to keep your employment. Last time I never return out of pure principle, and I'll be sure to spread the word to my colleagues and friends who also live and work nearby.

At the hot meals section IGA has put an additional fee on fried chicken pieces and a limit on pieces of chicken never seen this anywhere I go that's it for me never going there back there anymore

the first 2 orders went well but the third was canceled and my account deactivated WHY? I told my friends to make their purchases at IGA and have them delivered but then changed their minds which is really not happening to me.

Really so that I leave a Google review of a grocery store. Very stupid cash register supervisor/manager for no reason. Unfriendly cashier staff. I don't understand, there was no valid reason. With the 100 grocery stores right on Curé-Labelle, I certainly won't come back.
