I passed by toysrus laval and they had an item in stock so I decided to price match. The manager Tim refused to do it as he couldn't find it online in his system even when I showed him. He was so cold and rude and said no I can't price match and walked away.

I went today to toys r us LavalAs they had the Our Generation event.My daughter was over the moon. Very well organized event by Ruby and excellent service from Peggy. Great staff and well served whenever I go. I have to say loved how they handled all the kids and it wasn’t chaos. Great turnout. Keep it up Toys r Laval!!!

Bought a toy for my kid when I opened it was broken. I took it back and they refused to returned it because it was unpacked( how can I know that’s working without unpacking it).the sales associate and her manger were so ignorant and passive aggressive.

I always go to buy toys to this location, as I live nearby.After today’s experience I will shop in the other location.I went with my nephew to buy some toys and cloths.During the paying for my items the receipt was misplaced.I came back to the store ONE HOUR later to return few pieces as they didn’t fit my baby.Cashier recognized me and I explained to her that I can’t find receipt.She went to the back to speak to her manager TIM who did not even come out to speak to me.He checked the camera and confirmed with me that they saw me paying for the items but didn’t make an exception to accept the return.I am fully aware that return has to be done with the original receipt, but I find it so rude and unprofessional after one hour purchasing the items not to accommodate the return.I work in the retail and I am fully aware that return could have done with the exception. Specially they checked the camera and confirmed my purchase.When I asked cashier to ask her manager TIM to come outside to speak to me he didn’t even come out.They did not even want to share the last name of the manager.Being a manager in the retail store he was not on the floor he was sitting in the back and keep sending the cashier with his answers.Ridiculous and not welcoming.This is why your Toys R US location is never really busy.I will also reach out to your head office to explain how your manager made me feel by not even coming out and letting me explain myself and my situation.Again,I am fully aware of your return policy I am upset with the way my case was handled by your manager who had no decency and professionalism as a retail manager to speak to the customer and hear me out.

I’ve been going to this toys r us for 25 years, from my kids to my now grandkids.. and i’ve had the best service.. all over their promotions are really helpful and reasonable.. the cashiers are all very knowledgeable and do there best when having rude and unpleasant customers.. all over i wanna say thank you to the toys r us staff members for their patients, as i know some customers are difficult..

The promotion are scam and not real. The cashier don’t even know the promotions…. The manager Melinda is rude and not collaborative and show us the door instead of understanding the prices difference and miss-guiding the customers !

There was a recent mix up with a promotion that the Toys R Us head office posted and that it would be available at this location. This turned out to be incorrect. But the staff went above and beyond to make sure the wrong was made right. Special thanks to Georgia.

On the morning of January 21st, I went to Toys “R” Us in Laval to return two toys worth 300$. They refused to allow me to return the toys even if it is within the deadline of 30 days. Montreal greater area definitely offers poor services consistently so. The manager does not give any reason besides that the code on the receipt is not right. Sorry but we do not refer to receipt codes. The store policy clearly states that there is a deadline of 30 days to return or exchange and since the toys have been bought on January 6th, 2023, we’ll the 30 day deadline has not passed yet. The store policy allows us to return or exchange. It seems clear that the store discriminates as to how and when they apply if there are exceptions or not even if it is not even written on the receipt. The store manager makes rules above and beyond what is stated on the receipt.Overall, the store in Laval offers very bad after sale service.Montreal has developed a tradition of offering bad services and since you live here and can’t really drive 100km to find another, well sorry you still have to go to the same stores who give bad services.You are stuck with our bad service business just live with it. (The neo-Canadian dictatorship business style)That is actually not the right basis for doing business sorry you are wrong to build your organization as so.STILL SAD.

Had the best service ever in the stroller section.The young lady named Rebecca same name as me ? is a gem. I am an expecting mom and it is our first baby. She gave great advise. Took the time to understand my needs . She also took the time to make comparisons between models. All this on decembre 27th. Great service ? ?? ?.

Had excellent service by Peggy in the baby section for car seats. She made sure that the car seat fit my car. Overall a great experience. Stress-free. Very calm and service was A1. Would recommend !!!!

Price can be an aspect to overlook when you get good quality or good customer experience but what happened with my wife today was next level! She arrived at the store at 3pm looking for baloon but they told her they are short-staffed (although they had more employees than customers in the store at that time)! Then they told her she should have taken appointment. When she told them its just one baloon they asked her to come after 5pm. Are you serious?! Probably they should have told her we are not in the mood to work today! You have been in much better place Toys”R”Us!
