My boyfriend and I went July 28-30, 2023. There was no more space available for us and our rooftop tent near the water. They quickly found us a location near reception and services, sheltered from the wind. We loved our stay!!!!! The whole Vibert family and the campsite staff were super warm and very welcoming to us! We also took the opportunity to take the cruise with the Lighthouse Excursions, which we really appreciated too! Thanks again to the entire Camping and Excursion team! We will be back for sure!!!!

A huge thank you to the Vibert family and their staff for their hospitality and dedication! We spent three nights with our RV and we went to explore the surroundings as far as Kégaska, we went on an excursion to the Mingan Islands and took advantage of the site and the sandy beach. Really welcoming people where it is good to live and settle there. Thank you!Lucia and Mario

The place is heavenly. In the morning, the sun will wake you up, and in the evening you can hear the blowing of the whales. The Vibert family is super nice, come and meet them (Danielle, Emmanuelle, Marius and Dominique are great!!) The excursion to Île aux Parroquets will leave an impression on you, especially if you come in June/July, the wildlife will be abundant there . September is just as good, although cooler, and the Puffins and penguins will be gone. In the end, it’s a camping experience that is both simple and authentic, but very unique.

I enjoyed my stay immensely. The staff was extremely courteous. The services available were numerous. I particularly appreciated the boat excursion to the “Lighthouse of Ile aux Parroquets”. Magnificent hiking photos.

We rented a trailer for 5 nights. Very clean, there was no view of the sea but sheltered from the wind. Access to the magnificent beach in less than a minute. Expect to be close to each other. Friendly staff. The tour to the islands was very good.

Beautiful view of the beach, exemplary staff with excellent service. One morning the wind was very strong and Marius came to lend a hand to help people with their tents. Making the cruise a must.

The richness of this campsite is the unforgettable, warm, generous, authentic welcome of the Vibert family, in particular the owner, Danielle. She shares her love for her country in a host of very interesting anecdotes. We learned a lot about Minganie: the history, the animals (the cruise on the naked and parrot islands is fabulous!), the plants. Despite the flood of campers, she takes the trouble to chat with everyone. The campsite is ideally located, on the beach and without trees (therefore ZERO mosquitoes and flies!), very beautiful view in the morning when leaving the tent, and guaranteed breath of fresh air with the strong sea winds and the mist sometimes. Minganie has had to accommodate an unprecedented influx of vacationers since the pandemic, especially this year (70x more tourists than usual). This campsite is doing its part to mop up this surplus. We're a bit cramped, and an extra toilet wouldn't have hurt, but everything is immaculately clean and we get along very well with what's there, because the landscapes and people are so fabulous! The day after our departure, what a contrast: we went to a very prominent campsite on Pointe Lebel in Baie-Comeau: ugh! bad mood, all money and zero service. BRIEF: we missed camping on the beach in Longue-Pointe a lot! A very nice experience!

On the reservation site, you have 2 options, with or without electricity... note that only 3 sites at $30 offer electricity. This is the place of an RV which costs $30. Despite everything, Danielle was able to accommodate us by offering us an iced bottle. Delicate attention on his part :-) despite the poorly received information on the website. The boat excursion, a must, thanks to Captain Dominic and Maryline the guide on the bare island, the warm accent of the people of Minganie charmed us! The proximity to the beach is a big plus! Although packed on top of each other, in a small camper, the view of theThe sea when you wake up means you forget your neighbors around quite quickly! 3 toilets and 2 showers are perhaps too few for the influx of visitors, however we planned for this by going to shower outside peak hours which was not a problem during our visit. Thank you to the Vibert family for the wonderful welcome!
