“I deliver here weekly. Hard hat and hard shoes required. Bathroom is available 1st and 2nd shift for drivers. If no one perks up as you walk in through the door look for the green button and ring the bell for a few seconds. (The sign is in French to the left of the window, button is too)
For inbound truck drivers: Receiving is there 6-230. They will unload (dock) after hours IF the product is needed for current production.
Dock receiving door is TIGHT and there’s about 20 feet less than what’s needed in front of the dock to get straight without a few pull ups. ABSOLUTELY NO ROOKIES - it’s designed for flatbeds to be stepped on from dock-height. LESS THAN SIX INCH SIDE CLEARANCE WITH OPEN DOORS AFTER YOU CLEAR THE OVERHEAD DOOR. There are red marker lights mounted on each side of the dock. Align your right side tires with the shadow from the railing on the floor as you back in, it’s a straight line. If backing up is not your thing ask to go to the shipping docks around back.
Flat/lowboy receiving is 1st shift only, you’ll drop your trailer inside the building. There are green laser lines to help you back in straight.
Over night parking is available, back up to the dumpsters to allow for others - the gate is closed and locked around 11 when the shift leaves. On street parking as well. The whole materiel handling/receiving crew, be it Jimmie or anyone else, is great to work with. Jimmie speaks French and English, with the others it depends on the person and how involved of a conversation. Google Translate is your friend.”
