Hello, I just read a novel that really moved me. An impressive and real story about the destiny of the Innu. The writer Michel Jean comes from the Innu community of Mashteuiatsh. I would like to one day be able to discover its wonderful places.

It was the first time I went to where my origins are! Sad observation to see what the reserve looks like, especially since my ancestors as well as those of many other nations had no other choice than to “retreat” there. Reserve, ghetto, favela, city... so many words to say the same thing...

If you pass through St-felicien, a short 15-minute detour to visit this very charming community on the edge of the lake would be well worth it.
