I did not have the chance to taste a representative sample of all the dishes offered by this grocery store/butcher/deli/deli. But it’s pretty and well arranged. We had German beer, some cold meats and some good cheese. Important bonus: the boss is adorable, so go ahead and get advice.

European grocery store. You can find lots of good things there that you can't find elsewhere, such as incredible cheeses. The people are really nice.

As a German this is a treasure chest. And as a person living in Montreal it’s an essential component of the diverse culture of region specific stores. Finally a place with good bretzels, very special Swiss products and the essential DACH Christmas foods! Einfach top!

We go every other Saturday for groceries - Spätzle, Sausage, pickles, sauerkraut, tea and of course chocolate and cookies (now is the best season for cookies since their Christmas stuff is in!). The store is nice and small and the staff are friendly. I even practice my German a little bit if I'm not feeling shy!I also love their pretzels which make a great snack to go after shopping! Coming here makes me look forward to grocery shopping!

On a whim, I decided to grab a quick double espresso from Boucherie Atlantique Inc., a rather unsettling butcher shop. I was prepared for a cost in the ballpark of $3.5 to $4, which is the going rate at most places. However, I was absolutely floored when they had the audacity to charge $6.89!But it didn't stop there. The audacity of that women knew no bounds. In a feeble attempt to justify this highway robbery, she bolded , "everywhere else would charge the same."Not only is this pricing deceitful, but painting it as the industry norm is nothing short of a scam.

If you are looking for fresh and cold meats, this is a good place to go, they also have a wide variety of European products that are not easy to find elsewhere. The only inconvenient is that the place is small and the merchandise is a lot, so if you don't take time to look carefully at each aisle, you won't know exactly what they sell there.

A nice variety of European products, but a little on the pricey side.

Craving for a little German? I’ve been a patron of this catering/deli/mini-market since 1989. Montreal is a city with lots of changes, but Atlantique, a German-Austrian family-run business since the early 60’s, carries on with its excellent service, impressive fresh food, and the same high-quality imported brands from Europe you can find today in Munich or Vienna, striking that perfect balance between old world life and in a changing Montreal landscape. Even the audio in the background is in German.

Came here last summer and fell in love with this place. The shelves were packed with all kinds of interesting things. At the sandwich counter, there was an incredibly friendly man who made me a delicious beef tongue sandwich. I also got a coffee that really hit the spot. I'll definitely visit here again if I return to Montreal.
