I walked into the store to buy a little gift for a friend as I was invited to dinner. Firstly I was barely greeted by the store clerk Michael. When I shared my budget with him and asked for recommendations he didn’t even bother getting up and made me feel “cheap” or unworthy of being in the store. I asked a few questions concerning some items to which he answered very condescendingly. He even snarked with his colleague which made me feel very uneasy. I then gave him a chance to redeem himself and asked about some soaps Savon de Marseille which are located at the back of the store. I’m a guy so I’m not knowledgeable on brands, smells, etc. Again he didn’t bother. He is rude, sarcastic, unwelcoming. I made sure to tell my friend who recommended this store not to recommend it in future. She told me it’s not the first time she hears this and has also decided to no longer frequent Beige.

Michael takes the time to understand your unique sense of style before harnessing his own experience, and network to help you find the home furnishing & décor you're looking for.Michael shepherded me through the process of furnishing my entire condo. Not only was the outcome extraordinary, the process was empowering, exciting, and truly cathartic! I can't recommend Beige more highly, and I look forward to our next collaboration, in my next space!
