I really liked this store but someone did something to me that I find to be a scam. I am going to replace a watch battery that is working very well. The battery was changed a few days later and I noticed that one hand on my watch was no longer pointing towards 12 like its default notch, it was shifted by one notch. I come back with my receipt and I am asked to pay so that they can correct their mistake. We honestly believe we are dreaming. Lack of professionalism from a once respectable store.

I lived in Rosemont and discovered this jewelry store by word of mouth. I have used their service almost ten times and I have always appreciated their warm welcome, service, professionalism and above all the speed of execution.
Better prices than elsewhere and much more transparent than other places. I have used their service to change batteries, lengthen and shorten necklaces, repair watches, etc.
Today, even though I am no longer in the Rosemont neighborhood, I have a good commute to get there when I need to.
I even ordered my bangle for my wedding recently from this place because of my good experiences with them. Besides, the bangle here for men costs much less than what I have seen elsewhere.
A satisfied customer,

Sorry realised i wrote my review in the wrong store, my experience at la puce d'or was bad, they damaged my watch and wanted to charge 7.2 times the advertised price of a battery change and wait 2 days. Went to another store they did it in 30 minutes and cheaper

For the 2nd time, I asked to add a safety chain to a chain supporting my son's ashes. Despite their mistake the 1st time; by welding everything together therefore result; a candy necklace that doesn't open so it's impossible to include my medallion and ridiculous to think that it will pass, already I don't understand the logic especially when it's explained but oh well. Another jeweler lost my precious chain so I brought them my news to install a safety chain and explained the error that happened the time before, the request seems well understood so I was shocked to see yesterday that once again plus, we made a candy necklace and welded everything together!!!! To what extent is a safety chain an unknown concept in a jewelry store??!! Thanks to the employee who reacted quickly and found a solution but I won't go back there again and I don't recommend it either.

Very unpleasant experience experienced today, all the more regrettable as I have been a loyal customer of this store for 17 years (replacing batteries and bracelets, purchasing watches and repairing clocks).
I came to replace my watch strap. The seller presents me with different models in two price ranges displayed: $27.95 and $31.95. I choose a leather bracelet priced at $31.95. The seller replaced it for me, telling me that I also had to change the broken spring pin ($3.99 each). I pay ($44.19 including tax) then the seller gives me the invoice on which I see the price of the bracelet billed at $34.95 (vs. $31.95 displayed). The original price tag (= proof) was thrown away and is - supposedly - not recoverable. As for canceling the sale due to my dissatisfaction (I am very attached to honesty and transparency), it seems impossible. The presentation of a catalog actually shows a price of $34.95 (but not corresponding to the “disappeared” label seen on the display).
No discussion is possible with the employee who says he is the son of the owner. What a regrettable attitude from the boss's son, which does not reflect the values - which I appreciated - of quality and service of the establishment and of Mr. Hervieux, father. What a shame too to lose customers in a context where we must strive to develop small neighborhood businesses in the face of distribution giants.
