Cabaret Lion d'Or is a preserved Art Deco marvel and one of Montreal's rare surviving 1930s cabarets. It is a classic venue with a lot of character, good vibes, and fantastic decor full of history. The space hosts all kinds of shows, weddings, corporate events, and cultural celebrations. It is not too big and not too small, with a great sound system and sightlines from anywhere. The attached restaurant adds wonderful food, and the bar is well-stocked with friendly, fantastic staff. The beautiful stage and unique, elegant setting provide a cool and spectacular backdrop. It is located within a walkable distance from several metro stations.
Beautiful venue. Nice main area with VIP section in front of main stage, nice hidden back room for special events;) I went for the cabaret du diable from Halloween. Would recommend!

One of my favourite venues in Montreal. The decor and history take you back to a time where live entertainment was all we had. The drinks and bar staff are fantastic! Go see a show here!
