My car was a older model ,a 2002 Ford Escape (a car bought in from Vancouver)but all the maintenance had been done. I have all the bills of previous repairs.Yes, it did have a oil leak. The car was having problems starting. It seems to be a key problem which is why we brought it to Ford. At the same time we ask them to check the leak and order brackets for for the back window.We had an appointment in November. We got a call a couple of days later that we needed a Transporter for the ignition and the two clips were ordered. We oked the order. After that we didn't hear anything from Ford. My husband called several times about the progress of the repair. Finally ,he received a call a week later explaining the car had a lot of repair issues expensive ones... My problem with Ford was lack of communication.I didn't have a car.Parts replaced were not the problem and a 900.00 bill. Unacceptable service.

The worst customer service I have seen. I own a Lincoln Navigator 2023, for 2 days I have not received any phone call follow up when they promised they will. So had to call several times to speak with someone. They delivered a 2021 aviator replacement car. It was not even cleaned up, there was sticky coffee inside the car, and 10 cm of snow on it. The brakes had a cracking sound when starting to drive the car, until I was driving on a dry road and the car refused to stop, I was very close to a major car accident. I called to explain the issues and the woman there tells me that I am literally lying.

I have been going to Ford Gabriel for years and have always had a first class service. They are professional, and courteous... always going the extra mile to make the experience better. I can't believe that I returned to this dealership again! Having previously had the worst experience in dealing with a service department, I had to bring back my 2002 Ford Escape for an issue concerning the key ignition/transponder. Also had other issues with the back window clips and a possible oil leak. Upon my arrival I was given a "service consultant ", Richard, who, supposedly, would handle my service file through out the repair process. Communication with Richard was very infrequent. I believe he only communicated with me to approve the purchase of the window clips and a transponder for the car's ignition. After that I heard nothing about the car's repair progress. I was never able to reach Richard directly and was frequently dealing with employees who had very limited knowledge about the car. I was finally able to ascertain that the car had serious mechanical issues (oil gasket repair, possible transmission issues) that would have made the repair cost too pricey. I decided I was going to scrap the car and tried to arrange to remove it from the lot. This was an exercise in frustration. First, the car was buried in the back end of their lot, making it almost inaccessible to extract. Also I had to pay a $900 repair bill for the work already done, even though the car was in worse shape then when I brought it in. This is the second bad experience I've had with this dealership. Was promised a call from service representative but I am still waiting as of January 20th, 2024

I dropped into Gabriel Ford to change a flasher light. I was told by Omar that it would be 1.5 hrs labor to change the light! Really? I went to a local garage and i was in and out in 20 min. I need not say more.
