We arrived at the store at 8:35, we started looking at shoes and at 8:45 the store manager asked us to leave because they were closing. Although the schedule says it is until 9:00pm. Although we liked several models, we couldn't buy anything. Terrible customer service.

A PLACE TO AVOID ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE PANDC (visible minority):
On Saturday May 4, 2024 my sister was the victim of an experience of overt racism at this store in the Eaton Center, Montreal early in the afternoon. From being aggressively followed and monitored during what was supposed to be a pleasant shopping experience to even being indirectly accused by the manager that she might be a "thief" as soon as she entered the store.
The staff even took the liberty of not only targeting only my sister among all the customers present at the store but of subjecting her to similar harassment throughout her shopping.
Rather than express offers of help to my sister with the styles she was trying, your staff did the following: not only harass her, but purposely made her uncomfortable by standing silently or rearranging objects near her while letting her know she is under their watchful gaze. And by doing this repeatedly, it cannot be considered as just staff doing merchandising.
What is particularly disturbing is not only the behavior of your staff, but that this behavior was encouraged by the manager and assistant manager present that day. When paying, my sister asked to speak with the manager about her distressing experience.
Nothing was done to rectify the situation and management instead chose to attempt cognitive hijacking.

Shady and dishonest business practice.I was looking for winter boots/shoes downtown and saw Globo. I assumed that due to their name and reputation, I'll find what I need there.There is a display at the very front of the store with about 8 different models on there with a promo saying "up to 50% off!" which I thought was great. There was a good looking model that I wanted right in front of the promo paper, so I asked someone if they had it in my size and I asked what the was the percentage off (since it says "up to 50%"). A guy working there said he thought this pair had 30%, which would be pretty cool, but the woman said that no, there was no discount on this model. I was a little surprised because this model is right in front of the promotional paper "up to 50% off!". Then another young lady came and said that no, there is no discount on this model. I've walked to the front and showed her the display and said "These boots are literally in front of this promo and they are not included in the promo?" and they just repeated "no". At this point I just started laughing, I thanked them (sarcastically, of course!) and left.And according to the reviews, similar situations with "promos" seem to be happening to many customers. It is a recurring trend at Globo.All in all, if you buy something at Globo that you believe is part of a discount, CHECK THE TOTAL BEFORE PAYING! Or even better, go somewhere else. I went to DECATHLON, they had a huge inventory with far better prices, great customer service and NO SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES WITH FAKE "PROMOS".

What's even more remarkable is that the prices were very reasonable, making it accessible to a wide range of customers. In addition to the great merchandise, the staff provided excellent customer service. They were friendly, and helpful, and made my shopping experience enjoyable.
