I sent my documents online and the lady refuses to look at them under the pretext that she does not want to use the platform to send the documents and prefers that I come in person even though there is no need!

Inefficient, poor communication -overcharging for services rendered. I have been going here for yrs bc of convenience. My children and friends have done the same until this yr bc they changed their payment policy and fee structure. Everyone I know has left fir for other income tax providers bc they don't provide good service - not answering their calls, nor returning messages and keeping inconsistent hrs.

Terrible service and incompetent staff. After 2 months of waiting, my tax returns are not completed. Lots of errors to correct. Several trips to the office. I took them to an accountant who has to start all over again. That said, I demand reimbursement of $150.00 and $105.00 for the costs incurred to have them redone again. On April 17 at 4:00 p.m., I had scheduled an appointment at the H&R Block branch in Robert-Bourassa in Montreal. Everything was done through their website.
The day before, I received reminders by phone and text message to confirm the appointment for the next day. However, when I arrived at the scheduled time, the receptionist informed me that I did not have an appointment. Despite my proof of online application, the text reminder and the telephone reminder that she herself had sent me the day before, she seemed confused and told me that I had to wait.
After a good 15-20 minutes, a woman came to collect some printed documents and complained to me, a simple customer, that the customer before me had two tax returns to do, which was taking a lot of time, and that she wasn't sure she could see me. I find this unacceptable, because if I have an appointment at a certain time, I expect to be seen at that time.
The receptionist then suggested I go to another branch, which is incredibly disrespectful! This lacks seriousness and gives the impression of amateurism. Additionally, although I requested service in French, the receptionist only spoke to me in English.
In summary, the service was far from professional as I expected. It was a complete waste of time as I obviously decided to leave the premises. It was my first and last time at H&R Block.

I would have given 0 Star if it was possible, PLEASE AVOID THIS BRANCH OF Robert Bourassa. They are extremely rude, unprofessional and give no advice and every time you set foot in their house you are charged even if to correct a mistake that they made.The only thing they do is fill out the tax form without any added value then they charge you the costs of an accounting service, it's shameful.I am extremely disappointed.

I would give it zero stars if it were possible, the poor service is so rude and unfriendly, that when you ask for more information they only tell you I don't know, see for yourself.
