I think they have issues checking expiration dates——- you better check everything carefully - packed sandwich chicken expired since the 2nd sold on the 15th.

They are our Neighborhood Grocery shop and though the Prices are higher and the staff frequently surly, we still shop there because the selection is good. However, I have noted thet there is a lot of US produce and products on your shelves and I will not buy US products. I urge you to remove them and stop selling US products. Canada does not need their products and selling them is tacitly supporting the nonsensical rhetoric coming from their administration. Please do better for your country and your community. #elbowsup

One of the worser IGAs in terms of selection, size of shop but you're still getting charged that IGA price.
Items out of stock or once I almost bought milk that was 4 days expired (all of them from that brand was expired...). I noticed it, then the cashier just stared at me like, you still want it?... Nobody went to go check so I went on my own to look at the other milk and when I came home realized someone took my Yogourt from the cash that I had before I went off to check the milk... And they over charged me for an item. Some cashiers are just ?♀️ attitude.
Some items don't restock for months despite being out not sure if it's manufacturing or inventory management issue.
On the other hand, I've had great service here too so it's really luck of the draw, half are great! The other half not great. If your shopping is straightforward and you get what you need and nothing messed up, it'll be fine.
The prêt à manger deals are pretty decent though for dinner you'll need to come by 4-5pm to make sure you get some. The counters close around 5-6pm. Sometimes they have leftovers and make a special you can pick yourself

One of the high places of our ancestors
Reflection of our past history
Lots of small businesses ready to surprise us
I come there and come back constantly, always surprised to find our soul there and a bit of our history from the beginning of our century.
The large room on the second floor, so beautiful and well preserved, where the offices of the city of Montreal are located.
The building is a treasure that must be preserved.

Rude staff, Wrong billing,
“The service has been unacceptable, with inappropriate comments from staff and a complete lack of listening.”

very small. Prices of fruit and vegetables very unreasonable. I prefer maxi and the Détour..update 9feb2022, they closed the postal counter ?. Update September 2024: the prices at the checkout counter are often wrong and when you insist on applying Quebec's pricing policy, the cashiers are stubborn, show an attitude, speak in a low voice and look askance at you. Cibole, it won't be deducted from their pay!

No reason why the drinks near the fridge should be more expensive than deppaneurs across the street.
Other than that. It’s okay.

Edit: Good deals for specific weeks. Very convenient location in the area. It’s a go-to when u need groceries asap. All in all we’re very lucky to have an IGA in the Point. FR. interesting selection of plants as well.

Good location for the PSC district. Near the Charlevoix metro station.
Prices are expensive for products that are not always well preserved.
