Horrible service from cashier looking for unneccesary dramaFour stars for the pharmacy team at the back. They are always helpful and professional. I've never had a problem with them or this pharmacy before. It's the only reason I might continue there.However, my problem is with the rude cashier at the front checkout. I'm still highly traumatized from my encounter with her.This specific woman wears a ton of makeup and always looks angry; as if the world is out to get her.I went to the pharmacy a few months ago. I was being checked out by a younger girl who told me I would have to go to the other cash if I wanted to purchase a lottery ticket.The girl had already scanned the products I bought, I thought the other woman knew this, and I would only have to pay for them when she served me.I noticed the items weren't on my receipt when I got outside the store and checked the bill. I then decided to do the right thing by going back into the store and letting this woman know that I wasn't charged for the items. Big mistake! This woman, clearly likes drama. Instead of being professional and thanking me for pointing out HER MISTAKE, she chose to go into this stupid rant about shoplifting. I was mortified. There were people around listening to her including other employees. I guess she was trying to impress someone, maybe her manager--I don't know! Her behaviour was absolutely shameful!I don't think a very smart person would behaved in such a dumb way.If it was shoplifting, I wouldn't have come back into the store to point out HER MISTAKE! She clearly was trying to steer the blame away from her onto me. There are cameras in the store--management can check to see what really happened. I found a mistake and came back to remedy it.There's clearly something wrong with this woman. I have dealt with other cashiers at the front before, and none of them has ever acted in such a horrible way. This woman clearly needs training in how to deal with customers. Sadly, I won't be buying anything at the cash if she's there.It's also my suspicion that she went and told the employees her version of what happened. Again, check the cameras! Now I feel very uncomfortable going into that store. I'm thinking about changing pharmacies, because of this. This woman looks like the type of person who likes unnecessary drama and she got it that day.

Pharmacy is horribly slow, when they say 10-15 minutes be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. Also they put in my insurance a medication I told them not too and when I went to another pharmacy they had to call them to have it canceled before I could pick up thus again wasting my time.

The pharmacy is horrible. Tried to call twice about a prescription, was put on hold and hung up on both times. Atrocious. Get your medication from a different pharmacy.

This is a terrible place to get prescriptions. The people don't answer the phone, when they do, put you on hold without saying a word, and continuously do so. I had to call the cash, get someone to physically go to the pharmacist, they did, and then I got passed back to the same cashier.They show absolutely no signs of urgency when something is needed urgently, are rude as hell, have zero sense of customer service, and make constant mistakes, from addresses to names. Simon there is terrible, and Jacob is just rude and not helpful.

Great service professioanl helpfull and polite. I do not understand what more do the people expect. I respect the staff for the work they are doing and for their kindness.We must remember just because we shop there does not give us the right to act like jerks.. MAX VIVI ANI, .thank you

Every time I come here for my medications the pharmacist Catherine is always making this complicated.I do not need to wait for my meds to dissolve inorder for her to give them to me. I paid. She gives me everything but my medication! 2 recipts & withholds my medication.I am a labourer in landscaping & construction and officialy start working by 7am!The pharmacy opens at 9 which causes me to be late already & having Catherine withhold my medication is unacceptable.No other pharmacist does this. Not to mention not needed!The only good pharmacist is Silvan. She's always on top of things knows what she's doing and even goes above and beyond for her clients.So 5 star for her.

The pharmacist who worked this Friday morning is not very professional. Every customer should be treated fairly, and not the pit of prejudice remarks that can be overheard by paying clients. After 7 years of my business here, I think its time to change pharmacies.

Jean Coutu at 5815 Sherbrooke Street West in NDG. Young female staff member decided to follow me around a bit because I had a bag of groceries after shopping at Esposito, figuring me for a potential shoplifter. Came within a few inches of me. I don't need that, we're still in a pandemic. Won't be back.

It'a nice Jean Coutu as the staff are friendly and helpful. For being a major pharmacy, it tended to be compared to Pharmaprix, especially for this store, the one on Sherbrooke West street near Cavendish street. The price of the former is more competitive than the latter but the latter had more variety of products. Also, the aisles are tight which can be an issue if someone crosses the same aisle.

i have been going there for the last 6 years... 2 stars are for the staff on the floor, they alone deserve 5 stars.... It has to be the pandemic, but the pharmacists and technicians behind the counter in the back are asking some real ill-mannered questions.First time - I pick up medication for Rosacea. One pharmacist advised : "Don't go in the sun while using this". I replied I don't because of my Rosacea. She replies back: "Well you like someone that goes in the sun, you're red".... YEAH! I have rosacea!!!Second time - Pick up some antibiotics for a tooth infection. When having my pills handed over: "For which infection are these for?" I replied: "What do you mean for which infection?"I'll keep going but there's no caring and discretion. I'll be on my guard.

UPDATE: There's an extremely rude and arrogant pharmacist there named Paola Frengul. She seems new. She's the opposite of other employees that work at the Pharmacy. Being condescending with customers is not the way any customer wants to be treated. I've never been back since my bad experience with her.PAST: It's about time I spread the news about this JC! There is a cute, short and friendly cosmetician there that always smiles and brightens up my mood every time I come in. I've been to several JC's in my lifetime but have never felt so appreciated as I do in this one. That cosmetician finds a way to speak to you as if she's your friend and is always helpful whenever I have questions about my skin. Not sure of her name but she's short, flawless black complexion and friendly. I hope you hire more employees like her. The Monkland branch isn't as friendly in the cosmetics department, and always seem as if they are half asleep. As for the Pharmacy, there used to be a rude man there but I believe he left or changed JC's because I never see him anymore. The staff at the Pharmacy are always ready to help and always have an answer to my questions. All-in-all, great JC and I hope you win some kind of award for customer service!
