A fun discovery was just how far the underground network goes. It's not completely connected so some aboveground walks are necessary to explore the entire network. The main network allows for walking underground from the Lucien l'allier to McGill University Roddick Gates without having to go outside, which is perfect on those blistering wintery days. There are signs and maps throughout with connections to many malls and metro stations.

It is a route to go from one building to another, some are shopping centers. It is not very touristy, it is only useful for getting around on very cold days. The information on the access points needs to be improved, especially in the Complexe Desjardins shopping center, access is via an escalator near the bathrooms that we found by chance. I recommend downloading the map of the tunnels to your cell phone for better orientation

Decent stores and warmer than outside but wasn't impressed with the stores themselves. Could be a lot more. Just my opinion though.

It is a little complicated to find the tunnels that connect the shopping centers, but despite that, what I discovered is very nice
