I went to go see the Rêver L’Asie exposition with my friends. And let’s just say… I was disappointed. I expected something fun, cool, interactive, and educational, but my experience was bleak and bland. Don’t let the 4.3 on google fool you. This experience is not worth the $30 I payed. If you enjoy looking at random meaningless pictures on the wall then by all means go for it. However, if you are looking for a life changing, interactive, pleasurable, relaxing experience then keep looking because this isn’t it.

Beautiful but I wish there was more to see and do. Once you finish the 3 rooms it’s over.

I really liked the images about Japan. An interesting place that allows us to escape into beauty and joy.

Pricey with no fun at all, not interactive as they advertise, the whole experience wasn't worth the time & the trip to downtown Montreal.

I can't wait to come back when the technique is perfected. When the image is moving, it is blurry. The resolution allows you to see the pixels. And when we move our eyes, we see the three colors Red Green Blue of the projectors. It would also be good if the ceiling was projected.Plus we ask you $4 for the locker room, which I couldn't pay for anyway because it's cash only and it's 2024.

Interactive and educational. May not want to bring kids as some of the stuck up cuatomers were complaining but would def recommend for a date night.

I had a great time here. The 3 shows they had featuring different Asian cultures were very distinct and I enjoyed every bit of it. The last show was interactive and as you walked through the area, the projectors reacted to it. It is family friendly too. You can bring your children along. They'll enjoy it too. Especially the last one since it is an interactive show.

The “dream Asia” experience is nice. However, it is not very interactive and not that immersive. Visually, we feel that the video projectors used are aging: the fast images (especially present for the room presenting the puppet theater) appear blurry. In terms of sound, the rare uses of spatialization are limited to a few seconds in each room.Too bad given the asking price.

I guess my expectation was way too high as I have been to multiple teamLab exhibits in Tokyo and expect some similar experience. It was nothing like that. This is prob only in the same level of those immerse Van Gogh or Monet shows where you just go thru rooms with projections and music. Not much other interactive experience was offered. The last room of the three is our fav as we always love ukiyoe arts but I find the promotional video somewhat misleading as part of the video was shot in a different venue and nothing like that was seen in the Montreal OASIS immersion experience.I would have given it less than three stars if I have purchased the full price but I did get to use the passport Montreal pass to get some discount on it. I just had to see it in person to see if I’m missing anything. The interactive sound/light art installation right outside the entrance might offer a more interesting experience.
