It is what it promises to be.I lived there from May to October. Overall, it's a good place for a student or a single person. I would not recommend it for a couple or roommates as the rooms are hotel-like (actually that place used to be a hotel). The area is perfect, with the provigo in front, 24 hour restaurants very close (A&W just across the street), and the Universities very close walking or by subway. The three low points are: First, the shared kitchen, which is generally ok but depends a lot on the neighbors you get. In my case some very nice and sociable, while others dirty and disorganized, with no sense of community. Second, not being able to open the window of the room. For some reason, even without air inlets, the room was full of dust and constant cleaning was necessary. Third and complementing the first one, some of the neighbors. Some of them were very disorganized and left garbage in common areas. The pool cues were in replacement for a long period of time, and a week after the new ones arrived they had already broken them again.Plus points: Staff! Joy, who showed me the room and signed the contract, did her duty well. Ikram was great every time I needed something from her. Excellent person and very attentive. However, towards the end they were short of staff and communication became a bit complicated.Package reception. Whenever packages arrived from amazon, or other stores, they were received and stored, so I never had to worry about them being left on the street.Shared facilities: The laundry area, study areas, reception and overall cleanliness were top of the line (except maybe the elevators from time to time). The only problem I had in my unit, was a moisture problem in the bathroom, which they did not take care of. I reported it by email, they replied within a week asking the current status, I replied that it was still leaking, and they never got back to me about it. It was up to me to solve it (as I could, since I have no experience in this matter), but it was really nothing serious.Overall it was a good experience living in ParcCité. It has solvable problems, but it is not a definitive solution for someone who aspires to live in Montreal for a long time. Again, it delivers everything it promises.

Hello guys, please kindly advise.Reading the comments, s.th really consumed my mind. the windows really cannot be opened? If that is so, what are the alternatives for ventilating the room and getting rid of odors? The only option is to open the door?

I would say that the only good thing about this residence is the location, in the center of Montreal. The management of the residence is chaotic, plus there is almost never anyone at the front desk. The day I arrived I was given a key that didn't work, and I went two days without getting it fixed because there was no residence staff working. Also, I was given a completely dirty room, which had not been cleaned for months, and it took several days to clean it, which on top of that was not even enough. The kitchens are always completely dirty, making it almost impossible to cook.In conclusion, I do not recommend this residence. The management and treatment are bad, as well as the cleanliness.

Ideal for a first year student, had limitations that had me move out such as the kitchen being shared but the front office staff and especially Raphael made it worth it.

Nicely placed residence with very friendly neighbours. Good amenities and gym. Close to Mcgill and metro.Disappointed with the slowness and inefficiency of the staff. Offices are always closed and rarely anybody at the front desk during the week. Had to wait over an hour for my move-in, and nobody answered the phone. Thankfully raphael helped me move-in and has been super useful for my whole stay

I have been here for a year and my general feeling is positive. Nice room, never had a problem with utilities in the room, even if sometimes I have had lukewarm experiences with neighbours. The staff is very nice although sometimes disorganised. You are also promised a working printer for the residents to use in the building, but it never works...Raphael however has helped me many many times in my requests, and he is always a great help.

the location of this place is amazing. It’s located in downtown montreal with a supermarket right in front of it and a variety of restaurants around it as well as a bus stop less than 10 seconds away and the nearest metro station is a 3 mins walk. Really convenient for a first year stay. The receptionist mark is really helpful as well as the leasing manager Ikram. They’re super great!

As a first year student, Parc Cité is what I was looking for. Spacious room, comfortable (big) beds, good gym, and amicable staff. Ikram and Mark helped me a lot during my stay here with multiple inquiries. If you’re looking for a great place to stay with a cool view over Downtown and were you can have fun while simultaneously find your own time to focus for uni, this is the one.

I moved in September 2021 and my time here has been nothing but positive experiences. Parc Cité offered a sense of community like no university dorm could. In Parc Cité you are among students just like you with various nationalities, histories and experiences which enhances the diversity and colourfulness of Montréal.The building is clean, affordable and provides many and crucially useful utilities, such as the gym, the study rooms and the laundry room. Additionally, since covid is fading away, the building seems to live again : more activities and events are organized, the coffee machine is out again and the people seem to be more open than before. The staff at Parc Cité is extremely reactive and helpful : I never waited more than a day for a work order and any questions I had were answered appropriately. Special shoutout to the team : Ikram, Oggi, Damian and the front desk staff for making this place work so nicely!

Having spent six months at Parc Cité, I can say that I am more than satisfied, primarily because of the excellent quality-price ratio.Namely, the location is amazing, as it is close to McGill and UQAM. There is a supermarket right across the street and the metro station is also nearby. As for the room, it is spacious, with more than enough storage space for one person, as well as bright, with a large window providing lots of natural light. The common areas such as kitchen and study rooms are maintained on a regular basis, and so they are usually clean and ready for use. The rooms are furnished with new and modern furniture, which can even be replaced upon inquiry. For example, I asked if it is possible to replace one of the chairs which was slightly unstable, and the very next day they provided me with two completely new chairs of excellent quality. Finally, one of the greatest advantages of Parc Cité is its amazing staff. Everyone is very friendly and ready to help, and the manager (Ikram) is specially kind and considerate of the tenants. She takes great effort to assist anyone who reaches out regarding various matters and is truly aiming to make the residents' experience as pleasant as possible.
