There is a lot of merchandise but there are also empty shelves during good sales. Do not hesitate to ask for a discount coupon at the exit checkout.Often, the aisles are cluttered with baskets of promotional merchandise which make movement difficult for parents with strollers and elderly people with walkers or ambulators.The emergency exit next to the prescription counter is often poorly cleared and the step is very high compared to the outside area. If there is ever an emergency, in winter, go to the back of the store...

#WORSTSERVICEEVER the lady working in the cosmetics section was absolutely so rude. my friends and i were just looking around at the makeup section and she offered some help and we rejected her and she proceeds to be in MY BUBBLE. followed my friends and i around the store and she would stand so close like all up in my face up close and personal. she has absolutely no right it was so rude never coming back to that jean coutu again it was the worst experience i’ve ever had. it was on a sunday february 08 2024 at around 8pm

Absolutely terrible service. I wouldn’t recommend using this pharmacy.Take your business elsewhereFor the last 3 months, it’s taken over an hour for me to get my prescription medication. I’ve ordered ahead of time, called ahead of time and tried my best to make the process smooth and they still take more than an entire hour. I believe the employes are incompetent and the management useless.Fyi, there was practically nobody there, it’s not like it was packed…To put it into perspective, here is a list of things that can be done in an hour:- Read a chapter of a book- Go for a brisk walk- Do a quick workout or exercise routine- Practice a hobby or skill (e.g., playing an instrument, drawing, knitting)- Listen to a podcast or some music- Catch up on emails or organize your inbox- Meditate or practice mindfulness- Plan your day or make a to-do list- Clean or tidy up a specific area of your home- Cook a simple meal or prepare snacks for later- Learn something new online through tutorials or courses- Write in a journal or do some creative writing- Connect with a friend or family member for a quick chat or catch-up- Do a household task you've been putting off (e.g., changing light bulbs, organizing a drawer)I’m willing to change my mind if changes are made, in the meantime, ignore this place. Go somewhere else, somewherefar away even. It’ll be faster.

We have had terrible service there several times. The first time, they gave 10 mg instead of 20 mg without warning us. Today, medicines ordered 48 hours in advance and when we arrive, they tell us that they no longer have any, without having informed us. Then they told us that it was because we had ordered from another pharmacy (but our other prescriptions were ready in this one and yet everything was ordered at the same time) and that they had to wait for the other pharmacy cancels the order before making ours. In short, we have been waiting for over an hour in an empty pharmacy. Bad service, several errors, pharmacy to avoid if possible.

Shopping here for over 20+ years… the pharmacy staff, efficient, friendly, and caring…… a rare find today indeed…… I’ve always obtained my prescriptions here….. except for a couple of prescriptions that are less expensive elsewhere…..what I like is that if I’m on the other end of the city and I need a prescription, I can pick up at any other Jean Coutu….,anyways, this particular branch, my preferred choice…

There is always only 1 cash register open, and 4 employees behind the counter who do nothing... including the supervisor. Poor owner, having to pay employees who don't work. Always bad service, it takes too long to get servedThe store is clean and stocked, at least.

The worst jean coutu pharmacy EVER! They never answer the phone, put u on hold for 20 mins then ignore u in person at the counter! Takes FOREVER to get your meds refilled!! Its not my first review I write for this pharmacy and it gets deleted?? TERRIBLE customer service

I found everyone to be charming and competent. Bravo! Took pics for passport - the Personnel was patient and I only paid $17 in contrast to their neighbour who charged me $28 and did a horrible job.

My experience with the nurse supposedly named Hanna has been extremely unpleasant. I was on Thursday, June 22 at 2:30 p.m. for an ear wash done through the Jean Coutu website, that day I arrived at my Appoitment at 2:24 p.m. and at the counter they told me to go to the wait room, there were more than 5 elderly people waiting for more than 20 minutes for this nurse named Hanna. Being 2:30pm I knock the door of the pharmacy consultation in a very normal way and what I just heard it's a -hostile tone of voice saying IM ON MY BREAK - I said madame I just have one question, she answered again IM ON MY BREAK, being already 2:30 pm, the time that my appointment was scheduled. 2 minutes after I heard my name, and the nurse was completely in a bad mood, like literally with an extremely sharp and hostile tone of voice, for which I told her if everything was fine, my appointment is at 2:30 pm and I want to be attended so please could you be more courteous I said, so the nurse's response was - I don't want to attend to you, it's not my problem that you don't like my tone of voice and I feel attacked so I'm going to ask you to leave,This is how I wasted my time and was blocked from a health public service of this pharmacy because of the bad temper, bitterness and hostile nature of this nurse. I understand that sometimes one is stressed in work but there are ways and ways to respond. Really, if you are serving people in matters of health, the least that is asked is to treat them kindly. I have everything registered for the rest. I hope that nurse resigns from her position soon, xD.

I shop there often. Never had any major issues. If you're picking up a prescription you can ask them to text you when it's ready instead of waiting around a long time. They also fill prescriptions for those who phone in so don't estimate time based on how many are in the waiting room. They serve an neighbourhood with a dense population so there will be long waits in line sometimes. Maybe they'll eventually get self checkout like Pharmaprix across the street.
