This is one of the worst RBC branches. There are never more than 2 tellers. Even though the line of clients is at least 15.They are at their stations, but don't make eye contact. And when you finally do get served it's like slow motion. When I worked at a RBC branch some 40 years ago. Quality of service was priority.Clients were served in a quick manner. All staff was knowledgeable & efficient. A client never waited 25 minutes to make a deposit or any other transaction.

by far the best RBC branch in montreal. I worked with one teller, a young gentleman, who might i say was very good looking, and he provided me all the help i needed very quickly. I highly recommend this branch.

Worst RBC experience I had. I had two requests and the teller was not able to any of them. She asked for help from 3 different people to get it done. I waited 1.5h for a simple task that could be done in max 10mins.

This branch seems to attract the lonesome and/or crazy; each and every teller "transaction" consists of some weirdo flapping their gums and playing with their phone for 20 minutes, while shuffling through stacks of paper. It wouldn't be so bad if they had staff, but the best I've seen is two slow-motion tellers who by all appearances enjoy the diversion.

Worst branch in the city. I’ve been a client 14 years and I made an appointment to get some things done, I arrive and the advisor told me I don’t have a personal account with them. Then they said my debit card doesn’t work - which is needed to make the appointment and I had literally used it this morning. Completely wasted my time so I went next door and bought some food with my perfectly FUNCTIONING debit card and bank account. That doesn’t get my wasted time back though!

The worst RBC branch in Montreal - definitely to avoid if you don’t want to deal with unprofessional, irresponsible and disqualified staff.

Make sure that you have at least an hour of time to make a basic transaction here, and check your own phone/watch for the date (their wall calendar is wrong). There’s only ever 1-2 employees working the 6 caisses, and they often need help from a manager or other employee processing your request. The manager in question often comes across as unhelpful and unfriendly. I feel bad for the staff who are put in this situation, but it’s even less fair to the customers.

I’ve never experienced such a low quality service. I came to print 1 paper to prove my account balance for house purchasing. At the customer service, I was blamed for giving the brunch a lot of work in a busy day and asked to wait until everyone finishes their “important” work so they could proceed with my request. In addition, I was asked to pay 30$ fee to get all the relevant documents. All the time brunch worker was complaining that it was too difficult for her to get the work done. I waited for almost 2 hours and decided to leave to another RBC brunch. At another brunch, I was able to get everything done in 15 min without any fee.

The waiting time is super long! I have been here for at least 42 minutes. They should add more tellers and acknowledge our entry to the branch. Luckily there are chair available to wait.

Homeless people hang out inside the building, next to the ATM machines, in the evenings and on weekends begging customers for cash. Not safe.

Branch to be avoided at all costs. The rot starts from the head, specifically the branch manager. The few occasions in-person teller services were required, the toxic branch manager appears to make an otherwise straightforward transaction recently completed umpteenth times by a well-established, low-risk client, now complicated. Branch manager focuses on what cannot be done instead of suggesting options aligned to someone's unique banking needs; as their own website claims. Branch manager has an obvious compulsion to redirect decision making outside the branch instead of making a judgment call based on their own readily available data. In summary, a poorly managed branch leads to an even poorer result. The branch manager demonstrates no interest in "knowing their client"; again, as their own website claims. Financial flow requires primarily two things - clarity and consistency; neither of which can be obtained here as basic banking rules change per visit. Business gravitates to where it's predictable. Take yours elsewhere.

The telephone banking AI is inexcusably awful. Doesn't even pretend to be able to answer basic questions and there's no human available to help.

No need for appointment for small requests like deposit, withdrawal, bill payment etc. Queues can be long during evenings

I was waiting patiently to ask if I could make an appointment for tomorrow, the security guard shuts the door in my face without accknowleging me after speaking with another customer. So rude ! Do you slam the door in the face of all your customers?
